(Critikal) [NET NEUTRALITY] At risk again but even more now
I can't wait for net neutrality to be killed and have a hundred smartasses like zoiragi set up their own versions of the internet splitting up the world's most connected communication service into small useless intranets
But then this kind of people will feel like they're resisting the system, wow.
i have a feeling mesh network infrastructure doesn't scale well to the point of maintaining hundreds of thousands of clients across a massive area of land.
the latency would be unacceptable and can't replace fiber or even copper lines, and that is not to mention how unreliable Wi-Fi can be in older buildings
simpler solution: keep net neutrality rules in place
Why is everyone here taking what I said in my first post literally? How many "kinda"s and "maybe"s do I have to throw in to emphasize that I don't actually want net neutrality killed? I'm just saying, there's a real possibility that mesh networks can save the Internet.
Because you said it literally.
Shut the fuck up and stop backpedalling.

Yeah cjdns doesn't scale very well at its current state, the routing protocol hasn't been perfected yet. It's a similar problem that the Bitcoin lightning network is facing atm. But it isn't like it's an impossible problem to solve, it's just a matter of engineering effort

I'm just pissed people like you can't accept the truth and instead try and backpedal once people start doubling down on your bullshit.
I honestly kinda want net neutrality to be killed.
Dude if you're getting pissed off that some rando on the internet has a shitty opinion then go outside or something. There are tons of people on the internet with shitty opinions, you can't change all of them. Anyway being a dick about it isn't gonna do anything

Goddamnit. We're fucked. That's it.
We all know that the bastards that are pushing this have their minds set on it.
No amount of whining from the common people is going to change that, no amount of useless calls to your corrupt local congressman, nothing.
We're screwed, because in comparison to all the underhanded bribes and political power that these people wield, We. Are. Nothing.
What the fuck ever, what's even the point?

I hope you're aware this line of thought actually will let them win, you are literally giving their win on a silver platter
Don't we just need one more person to change their mind and support net neutrality and then VeriCC are fucked until they can change one of the supporters' minds?
