I think that not only game developers need a change in work lifestyle but basically any job that's an office job. First of all the 9-5 commutes can go away forever, sick of being stuck in a 30 minute traffic jam to have to do an extra 30 minutes at the end of the day to get stuck in yet another traffic jam.
Second, they CAN fix the broken equipment in the office because my feet are tired from kicking the printer. Third, whilst they're at it they can also update the furniture, floor and chairs because I'm so tired of seeing that embarrassing milk stain under the CEO's desk. Fourth, they can also get rid of 24/7 fullbright mode in favour of... opening the curtains.

I dunno perhaps this person was just trolling but there's certainly some bullshit in working in an office environment so there's some truth to it.
