I'm not saying all disabled people are of lower use in society, but the severely disabled (Mentally and physically) are a burden on society.
Like it or not, it is the truth. I am also not saying that I don't feel for them, quite the opposite actually; Tell me, would you want to continue your life if you were severely mentally retarded and you couldn't care for yourself in any way, shape, or form?
Mentally, If I was in a vegetative state I would probably want to be down.
And I wasn't accusing you of saying that, I was just adding on to my statement.
Down, as in put down? That is the point I am trying to get across.
Down, as in put down? That is the point I am trying to get across.
If I was in a hospital bed, tied to a life support machine, the only thing giving me life, without a functioning brain, I think it would just be best for me to be let go of then just laying around taking up a bed.
You're not actually comparing disabilities to racism ?
No he's comparing it to discrimination. Racism is discrimination too.

I agree with this times 1000, I don't think we should HURR KILL TEHM NAW SOO THAY DUNT BREED, I believe we should try to minimize severe forms of mental and physical deficiencies through either abortions or prevention of breeding for those that already suffer from diseases or have a possibility to have a child that will suffer from one.
Yeah Kev, i didnt mean i feel sorry for him.
I just meant it is a sad state of affars that his condition is the case is all. Im sure he lives a rich life like anyone else.
And Xionasis, Hitler said something similair about disabled folks being a burden. I suppose the blind woman who phoned me an ambulance when i crashed my motorbike was a burden aswell ?
Or my Disabled Grandad who helped bring me up ? Was he a burden ?
Or the guy with M.S who works in our local post office ?
What about all these young, lazy, able boddied unemployed fucks who waste their lives doing nothing but drugs, drinking and fucking over the rest of us hard working individuals ? The so called "Grown men" who's lifestyle I pay for ?
They, are the real burden. They are an insult to humanity.

If there's anything my minor disability has taught me, It's to live life to the fullest, because you're lucky with what you have.
With that I must go.

:godwin:
Blindness will be curable in the future, down syndrome and the like wont be.
Also you aren't born with M.S.
But hey who cares, lets just let these diseases spread like wildfire, because preventing them will hurt peoples feelings.
What matters is not their condition, but if they want to try to live their life and support themselves.
As Bykeryder said, if they are nice and helpful, then it's alright.
Actually disabled people usually are kinder than normal ones.

Did you really just compare me to Hitler? If you want to do that, Hitler was actually a very smart man, even if he did have the wrong ideals.
You are not taking what I am saying as I mean it. I was leaning more towards severe cases of mental disabilities because they cannot function, at all, by themselves.
You also brought up the argument that druggies are useless; that is a completely different argument, because that is taking a person with a workingm, healthy body and having them ruin it. What we were originally talking about, is a body that is ruined by default.

Okay, first of all, :godwin:
Second of all, people with disabilities and such are indeed a burden. Helping them survive goes against evolution. The strongest, fastest, and smartest survive. This propagates our species. We help these people because our society is instilled with laws that step all over evolution. Protect the weak species not fit to survive. Keep brain dead people alive at the expense of precious resources. We should not use these resources to keep this person alive, but help our species as a whole. Call me heartless. Call me stupid. I don't care. Just remember, if we are to survive, we shouldn't take one life into more consideration over billions.
Also, drugs and drinking are not bad, to an extent. My father smokes marijuana. My uncle drinks beer. These men have built houses, canopy's, and other assorted jobs. What have you done that puts you above them. Oh, right. Nothing.

There's a possibility that anyone's kids might be born with dyslexia or some some weird disease.

I agree with the upper portion of your post. I feel that I cannot agree with the lower, because you are making assumptions that you don't know to be true or not.

Completely agree'd, on the druggies thing. (not touchnignthe Hitler statement witha 10ft pole).
They have indeed ruined a healthy working body, and an oppertunity to contribute to society. Hence why i see these people as the disease. Disabled people will always be with us. Depsite what people may think our physiology is not, and never will be perfect. Also, i know several people with down syndrome who have relatively ormal lives.
Your arguments are cold, and very inhumane.

I'm not talking about mild stuff like dyslexia, I'm talking about the severe stuff that makes them a burden on society.

Well, if it takes being cold and inhumane (Even though putting someone out their misery is humane in my eyes) to bring our species forward as a whole, so be it.

The first part of yoru post is dusturbing. People who have psoposed similair arguments:
Germanies Nazi regime
Stalin
The KKK
Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold
And ofcourse I also agree that not all drinkers, or drug users (i do both) are wasteful people, not by any means. I was simply condemning the ones who cant function as a normal member of society due to their own choices. And was proposing that these people are a FAR greater financial and social burden on society.
Ghandi once said: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
Some of you people cant even treat other people as humans. A great indicator of a civilised people is their compasion towards, understanding of and acceptance of their less fortunate individuals.
Disabled people are part of us, and always will be. You cannot out-breed natural genetic mutation. Its how life works.
And Xionasis, explain to us in steps, how ridding ourselves of disabled people "furthers" our society ?
Why dont you QQ some more OP
Why comment.
And it isn't QQing. It's more of a method of complaining about fucktards like you.

Just for future reference, it is Germany's. Ownership doesn't make something plural.
I have an autistic brother. He's come an extremely long way, back when he was completely non-verbal and used to bite me.
Now he collects anime figurines :ohdear:
Ahem, ok Xionasis.
Back to the point eh ?

One Godwin after another.
Posted in an earlier thread but this is what I believe should be done, don't really care if you think I'm inhuman, like the someone said, if that's what it takes to advance our race so be it.
Mental deficiencies and physical deficiencies are weaknesses and as such shouldn't be allowed to be continually introduced into our gene pool, the only reason those types of diseases are becoming more wide spread is due to people that either already suffer from said deficiency or are found to be likely to give birth to children that will suffer from those types of ailments still breeding, thus spreading it throughout our gene pool.
What I believe, though it might sound harsh, is to prevent those types of people from breeding and if by chance a fetus is found to be affected by one of those diseases it should be mandatory to get and abortion. If by chance a baby is born with some sort of deficiency they should be allowed to live out their life, they just shouldn't be allowed to breed.
Now that I said that I realise how bad it sounds and as such I kind of feel bad, but tis what I believe.
Sorry, I just felt a need to say that.
I honestly don't know what else to say. I have put my point out there; whether you decide to go with it or not is completely your decision.
I actually cried when I read your post, OP. I don't know if I can add anything that wouldn't just pale in comparison to what you just posted, but I just want to let you know that I appreciate what you've done for your brother. I don't know you, but I admire you greatly. Most of us can't relate to having to care for someone with disabilities--I know I can't.
Keep doing what you're doing. Even though I teared up, I feel happier after reading your post.
Edit: This is totally unrelated, but I just clicked on your profile and I realized we have the exact same birthday--the same year and everything.
Yup,
I think i'll just slip out the back door of this conversation.
Good luck Kev.
