My friend has a Real Sword Type 97. Loves it, but hates the battery setup. His solution? Use rail piece from a magpul MOE handguard and attach it through one of the vents, then add a PEQ box. Now he really gets to use it.

I have the misfortune of owning one of these horrors. You would think the gun is a Chinese bootleg copy of a CA, it's that badly off spec from what you'd think they would make.
I have a P90 Sportline. It's really not that bad, accuracy is mediocre (as expected from a P90) and the FPS is only 320 or so, but with a 9.6V it has a ROF of just under 20 rounds per second which makes it pretty good for close quarters and suppression, and the hop-up is good enough that I've used it in outdoor games without issue.
Don't even ask me about the CA Shitline.
I'm so hardcore my first days of airsofting I had a broken hopup that didn't work at all whatsoever and still got a kill every now and then.

although some people i think use it to denote empty mags, put them back in upside down when they're empty
(personally i just use a dump pouch but w/e)

Or to ID the owner of the mags, I use orange tape
me and 4leaf drew little stars on the baseplates of all our mags
(we have sort of a communal pile of M4 magazines)
i just put blue tape on my mags

This became mine for 20 bucks and a AK drum mag. In essence it's a custom hicapa with a TM AK hop up nub and just pure sex, shoots far and accurate and as soon as I make a kydex holster for it will be joining it's way as my dueling pistol of choice.
