I dislike that scope. EO Tech looks better. Probably because it's black and I've seen footage of Russians using EO Techs on their rifles.
shit that looks so fucking awesome what rail mount is that? gon do that once i get another AK
It's a BP-02, I got it from East Wave Optics. The Russians do use Specters too.
Handguard on my AK-74 keeps slipping forward and the barrel came loose. No idea how to fix. [editline]26th November 2011[/editline]
Speaking of removing orange caps, what's the best way to get it off a CM040? Just use pliers or what?
Take off flashhider, dip in hot water, wrap paper towel around orange, and then use pliers.
I actually kinda of like it, but I agree it would look better if it was black.
yeah i want to do it with a black one, but it actually doesn't look bad with yours either lol
How do you get the flash hider off?
Push down that pin that comes from the sight post that prevents the flash hider from turning. Mine was loctited so I just used a punch and hammer to push it down. In the slot of the flash hider that pin was covering there may be a set screw. Loosen that then twist the flash hider clockwise to remove it.

[editline]27th November 2011[/editline] CM040 for reference.
[editline]27th November 2011[/editline] CM040 for reference.
okay so unscrew a little Allen screw from the hole you can see in the pic then push down this little button that comes out of the front sight and unscrew the flashhider
Can't you guys just make a quick video tutorial to the guys who don't know how to do it? Much simpler :v:
My friend's giving me his Dboys M4SD to see if I can get Ender to come take a look at it. It has some sort of feeding issue in which it can fire two BBs fine, then nothing else feeds. Our lineup's come a long way from since my friends and I started airsoft. A friend of mine had that same M4. Had the same problem too
On a good note, the only things I can imagine causing that issue are the mag, the hopup, and the air nozzle. And those are all pretty easy to resolve.
iirc it was the hop up unit itself that caused the problem
I want an AK-74. I shall buy one when I get more monies.
I want an AK-74. I shall buy one when I get more monies.
Oh yeah, didn't you give your AK 74 to Artyom?
That's why I need one :v: Fuck Artyom, he never gave me my precious AK back.
That's why I need one :v: Fuck Artyom, he never gave me my precious AK back.
I'm sure he'll bring it back, he must have an Ak 2012 by now, no use for it.
I thought you were dead, Bourbon.
That's not how UNKLE BOURBON Werks
RPK is coming in tomorrow, expect pics
iirc it was the hop up unit itself that caused the problem
It was. I don't know exactly how it affected the feeding since I'm not a gun tech or internals expert, but it was the buckling. I replaced the stock one with one from my (formerly Ender's) CA SCAR-L, and like magic, it began to feed without problems. What's weird though, since my CA gearbox is having issues and I wanted to see if the feeding issue would still be apparent any other way, I took the gearbox from the Dboys, stuck it in the SCAR, and put the Dboys buckling in the CA hop-up. When I fired the SCAR, it fed flawlessly.
Got this today. KSC USP with an aftermarket metal slide, It's awesome.
Old Dboys skeleton stock from my dads AK installed on my CYMA AK-102. The notch on the stock needs some filing still so it locks in the unfolded position, but it should work. Just experimenting with this right now. AK-102 shoots 5.56. Suppressor is for 5.56. I see no problem. [t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10323530/DSCN0241.JPG[/t] Finally came in the mail, shoots like a dream, feels light. Only problem is that I got 20 round pmags instead of 2 high caps that the holy cow special said I'd get. welp whatever they look cool, only problem is my magpul mag assists dont fit on em.
those are 5.45 mags so technically it's a 105 but other than that it looks amazing
