If you get a heavier spring, you may need some stuff (not sure what) but if you are downgrading, then you don't need any new things really.

Maybe a question thread topic, but...
I'm planning to still get an AK at some point, maybe even soon. Right now I'm down to a few options again: AK-74 (can be wood furniture), AK-102 like Ender has including minor tacticooling, a plane jane AKM, or an AKS-74U with black or green furniture and mags and possibly a full stock later down the road.
What do guys? My armory needs more Russia and less capitalist.
I think an AK-105/102 would look really awesome with wood handguards.

The entire thing started because you put an IR Chemlight on the stock so you can find it if you dropped it or friendlies can ID you through NVG's and so on.
Regular glowsticks on blue rubber bands ruin the look to me, doesn't even serve a purpose.
