I'd say so. It's good so far.
Like looking at it in my hands, the wood just looks really old and beat up with how it currently is.
The top has had 2 soakings and the bottom has had 1. I might just do the top one since it has the most light spots and the bottom of the handguard is like super dark
Well If you're going for beat up, maybe leave it. or stain then wear it
I like beat up. I just wish it was a bit lighter, I feel like red mahogany may have been a bit too dark but I like the color.
It's just passing the time as I wait for two new guns to be delivered today :v:

It was a piece of plastic inside the steel tube part. No clue why dboys did it that way
I held the APS tacticool AK once. I had to spend five minutes fiddling with the magwell to get the stock, included mag to lock in.

I wouldn't really say there is a standard wood color wood for AKs. It varied by the region it was made in.

Hey, glad it got there alright! When I didn't hear anything around New Years' I got worried it hadn't made it, but then figured that by now you'd have come looking for it.
As you've no doubt noticed, the flash hider is sorta-orange and could use some black paint. I initially tried removing the paint to comply with eBay policy, then eventually realized it wasn't going to work and just photoshopped the tip orange for the listing picture.
Also, what kind of CA P90 is that? I have the CA Sportline P90 and it's actually not terrible.

AFAIK it's not Sportline. ASGI had it listed for one day near the end of their Christmas firesale and I nabbed it before it was sold out again.

It's not going in without some modifications but if you want mid-caps and got some spare AK mags I don't see the problem.

Seriously, STG and AK mags have nothing in common. You could as well try stuffing a stanag in there.
(If you're among ones that say AK and STG are all similiar and AK is a copy of STG, go educate yourself more.)
Speaking of magazines in general, my ak can feed from a stanag mag as well :v:
You just need to hold it backwards, and press it up into the "feeding nozzle" and voila!
