CO2 is about the same
all gasses compress in colder temperatures

I have an idea for that. You know those little hand warming packets that generate heat? Couldn't you stick them in mag pouches to keep the mags warm, so that when you take them out, they're preheated and therefore able to shoot better? I'm probably wrong, but it's an improvisation.
that is
an interesting idea
it's worth a try i suppose

That mentality only works for ideal gasses (IE: Charles law implies that CO2 is the same as Propane).
In reality some gasses compress far more than others at low temperatures. A CO2 NBB will do way better in the winter than any propane gun.
Edit:
Now that I think about it though, CO2 should technically do worse in the winter based on its phase diagram. I think the reason CO2 is better in the cold is due to the fact that there is much more CO2 in a 12g cartridge than there is propane in a mag.

well ok
but they still compress was my point
i remember shooting ice crystals out of a paintball gun when it was sub zero one time
No wait I was right the first time, CO2 should actually do slightly better than propane in the winter, I need to lrn2read phase diagrams.
Wait a second, why the fuck am I doing chemistry in the summer.

Yeah its a ton easier to get solid CO2 than it is solid propane, which is odd considering how close their boiling points are.
Though I do occasionally a little ball of liquid propane in my CAW 40mm grenade, it sits there for a few seconds and boils off, making a ton of noise :v:
oh lawdy we go sum WIP pictures

Its just a mock-up right now.
Still left to do:
- Trigger Mechanism. Im getting a friend to make me one. He does CNC shit, so itll be nice.
- Final sanding and stain.
- Make the suppressor stay on and be sturdy.
It's like a Vepr made of wood.
That looks pretty badass.
Are the sights too far back to aim with, or can you still use them like that?
I cant use them like that. So, Ill be re-attaching the dove-tail mount just above the pistol grip and getting a red-dot of some sort.
You could've painted that a little better
shit that looks awesome, nice job hunny buns

I think it would look better with a black handguard and body, but it's still tight as hell.
shouldn't really paint it, could just varnish/stain the wood
Ranz0me want's to trade his Aks74u for my M4A1, should I trade?
(handguard is held on w/ electric tape)
What are you making out of it?
What are you making out of it?
Wut
You could've painted that a little better
Its not painted, its stain / varnished. Its only a mockup with one coat right now, and the surface of the side panels hasnt been sanded yet. Its still rough. Like I said, its not done.
After you make this and everything, make kits and sell them to us on FP! (But just us on FP because anybody who has one and isn't on FP is a faget)
Its not too hard to make. Just need some basic tools, for the wood working at least.

that design rite
I meant to ask what was he making.
Fish Muffin make one for me and I buy ok.

MG36 Complete. There's a few little things I still need to change but it's fully functional as it is right now. I want to replace that shitty looking JG stock I put on there, and buy a new madbull tightbore and a new bucking. Right now it currently has a crappy systema tightbore that I used just to test for feeding issues. Turns out my old inner barrel was so old it caused jams. I also want to find or machine a pin for the bipod. As it is right now it's held on with a zip-tie, but it works quite well.

The CMAG has a nice feature I wasn't expecting. There's a giant spring loaded paddle that pushes the bbs towards the winding mechanism, so hopefully the bbs won't rattle around like other box mags. The motor and gears on the other side of the CMAG look sort of crappy though. Not neatly organized at all, had wires hanging out here and there. Gears are plastic and make a lot of noise when the motor is turned out. The battery pack isn't secured at all, it's just sort of tossed in there. I'm going to have to do some work to it.

Haven't tested it yet, bunch of kids outside next door. Last thing I want to do is laying down suppressing fire in my backyard.

Looks awesome, nice work Ender!
Are you going to put on a G36k carry handle? I like it better on an MG36 than the G36c carry handle.
I used an m60 today. Shits heavy. Id so much rather use that instead as a support platform.
