I went to buy an SRC G36c, but the store was out of stock, so i ended up with this instead.

Ares G36CV. I was a bit apprehensive when it was suggested since ares has a bit of a shitty reputation, but after holding it and having a test fire it is awesome
And in the process i nearly bought a fishgun, since i wanted to have a look at them to see how shit/good they are. They feel fucking indestructible and i fell in love with it, but the G36 is more practical.

Paint that thing black or at least camo as soon as possible. A solid tan G36 just looks awful in my opinion.
Just be prepared to replace fucking everything inside that gun at some point. lol
And it would look so much better with a K length front end.
I purposefully asked for a tan C length one because i really didn't want another generic black gun, and i want a short gun since all my other guns are M14s.
I will get a K length front with a bipod eventually, since having a play around with the K length g36es on the wall made me realize how awesome they are.
The tan isn't so bad in person, my camera sucks dicks. I'm not a fan of the tan on EVERYTHING, but i can deal with it.

Birds fly, grass grows, the sun shines, and airsoft guns break. It's bound to happen with any gun eventually. I'll just treat it well and see how long it lasts, it's all i can do, really.
I'm not going to fuck around with the internals untill it has problems, since i bought this as 'a gun that just works and i can pick up and use whenever i need it'.
i personally really like the tan..
i've never ever seen that gun in tan.

Well I mean that's not quite what I meant. You may get lucky, but with ARES guns it's almost always a domino effect. Once something breaks, you replace it, then something else breaks.
I've seen one of those things raffled off a few weeks ago. The paint job looks even better in person.
All I'd recommend you do to it is, at your discretion, paint some brown stripes/a brown pattern onto it.
when i shot one it was really nice and the recoil wasnt that bad for an ebb
full travel bolt helps too

It's simple and effective without looking like complete barf...the only other thing I might have on it is a taclight if I'm playing in lower light.
I've considered upgrading it to 400 just so idiots have a harder time ignoring me when I shoot them in the face.
