Post Your Guns V3. Ak's and M4's as usual edition - General

Alright, so i went to go paint my outer barrel for my USP. I grabbed some high heat paint my dad has but I didn't like the color of it so I only put 1 coat since its high heat and it'll probably never come off. I sprayed it on there and it looked amazing but a bit too glossy, so i grabbed some flat black to put over it ( after 2 hours of drying ) and when I went to spray it, the paint completely covered the HK .45 trademark on the outer barrel... So I had to wait for it to dry, GENTLY sand it back out and then paint the freakin thing by hand, all I really wanted was the tip to be black anyway but come on, why must this shit happen to me?

youre supposed to mask off the parts you dont want to paint lol

Well I didn't want the markings to be a different color than the tip so i went ahead and tried to paint it like that, Idgaf anymore though, it'll just get scratched anyway.

I know that the paint is a bit clumped. But I highly doubt that's going to affect it's effectiveness.

Sand that shit down, and re-shoot it. Use flat paint next time.

Is it good at blending in? Then it is effective gg. I'm not doing this stupid argument, because it's going to loop to stupid trivial bullshit like how my camera makes the paint look shiny and brighter than it is irl.

use a fuckton of sandpaper and sand that shit down and do a similar, lighter coat over it. would be sick as fuck

When my friend was taking apart his Barrett on saturday i had to steal part of it temporarily to do this. I can't deal with using the barrett style barrel mod and any mod that makes my guns yellow or orange because it looks like i'm hauling around an industrial power tool [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9988278/toolz.jpg[/img_thumb] i mean seriously

i have the barrett muzzle brake mod on my widow doesnt look right without it

I didn't even know you could get the assault rifle style mods on the sniper rifles I put it on the widow when i was porting the mods into gmod and thought it looked awesome, now i have to go and do this in ME3.
