I just got into airsoft really... haven't done anything more than backyard plinking... but I bought these two, and they're really fun to use. Unfortunately my area doesn't have airsoft teams, so I haven't played a match any bigger than 2v2.

Sniper rifles = Bad starter guns. You might get really disappointed and discouraged at your first game.
I always thought of springer/gas sniper rifles (when I first started airsoft) as an line of sight, pinpoint accuracy, instakill troll weapon
and then I got my first aeg and slapped a scope on it and figured that the scope makes my gun 10x(!!!) accurater
and then I found out bbs arc like a fucking grenade launcher even with super hopup (including shit groupings compared to real firearms))
never again
when i first started airsoft, i had elders who pointed me in the right direction

I live in the Olympia WA area. I know there's an indoor arena in Tacoma but I really don't care for CQB. Wooded areas are my favorite.

I don't know. I kind of enjoy using it. It's accurate up to about 75 yards and it's really fun seeing their surprise when they don't even know where the shot came from. I've tried an M4 AEG from Evike... it felt like throwing bullets away, and the whine of the gearbox just got annoying. They're much better for suppressing obviously but you can't be stealthy at all with them.
Ender was my mentor from the first months I started airsoft, even when all I had was an M83. He hooked me up with a Classic Army SCAR-L, and gave me a bunch of his old gear. No regrets here, either.

SR-7 is back and fixed with Prommy Piston head and Piston, and maybe a new cylinder head, apparently it was beat up but they never told me if it was replaced or not. And it has a lower spring and a new gear to replace the one that chipped (original problem, everything then snowballed).
It shoots really fucking far with a .25 without hop up on even, .30's im excited to test once I get my hands on some.

Is there a problem with Well MP7s? Some guys here seem to think the Well MP5K is pretty good.
I don't have experience with the MP7 but most Well guns are shite.
I bought my first airsoft pistol that wasn't some cheap Walmart springer.

It's a P99 with all metal internals and a seriously durable plastic frame. Shoots straight, shoots at like 300FPS which isn't terrible for a $20 hop-up.
I have that exact springer from BIG 5
That was literally my VERY FIRST gun.
My Dad bought it for me when Gander Mountain first opened.
I lost it a year or two later and my Grandfather found it in the woods years and years later and I still have it. Spring in the mag is rusted and it's pretty clogged up with mud but it's still cool I have my first gun back.
I hate to break it to you, but that's still a Walmart springer.
My first springer was a clearsoft M1911.
It is to this day the most accurate airsoft gun that i own. Range sucks but it shoots in a straight line every time. And i still use it to humiliate players.
