what's the eye relief
1.5" x 1.75" according to some review.
Elcan on sale at AEX for $48. Hard to say no to that when my SAW is begging for it. Weighs a ton now, not sure how long I'll be able to carry this before I collapse on the field.
Oh my god that is the sexiest SAW ever.
It's a CA, right?
It's a CA, right?
Yup CA. The eye relief seems to be a bit less than my ACOG, got to be fairly close to it to get a good picture. I'll be testing it today to see how well it can be zeroed.
and now for something considerably fuglier it's my friends but i'm taking custody of it for now
Take custody of it forever and bury it in a landfill.
i will admit the aac blackout flash hider isnt bad though
I have the shorter version of that flashhider on my M4. The wannabe magpul handguard looks kind of cool, but the stock looks like turds.
like stock doesnt even have a rubber buttpad its shit the only redeeming factor is the ability to carry cr123s but lots of stock have that [editline]28th April 2012[/editline] the lower handguard doesnt even come off the upper is spring-loaded at the gas block and you can remove it by pushing it forwards its really weird
Fuck I think the motor on my CA M249 is burned out. And to think I was going to use it tomorrow, oh well. In other news Dogtag Airsoft just loaned me a new WE M4 AEG to review, first in the U.S. I'll have a teaser video by the end of the night, and I'll be skirishing with it tomorrow. Probably gonna toss the elcan on there.
Got my piggy. Shitty cell phone pic.
Fucking badass.
WE M4 AEG that I'm getting to review. You may ask what's so special about it. Honestly, not much. Only feature that's really stood out is the spring decompresses when you switch the gun to safe. Is there any big reason that it can compete in the flooded market of AR-platforms?
Probably not. Cycles well on 7.4 and 11.1v lipos, ROF is insane with the 11.1v. I know other guns have pretty pathetic ROF with the same batteries.
I'm so fucking sick of AR's. Who the fuck keeps buying every single random obscure slightly unique AR variant they release. I mean, literally there are hundreds of AR's with very SLIGHT differences. I think the AR platform is great, they are one of the most dynamic cabrines in the world today but why aren't there like maybe 50 SOLID M4's made by 50 GOOD companies and everything else dies out? Why can't you put your own rail on a gun? Why does ASGI have to customize hundreds for M4's in very slightly different ways and sell those as "G4-A5 Nightflyer Custom" I have ONE M4 out of my five primaries. Why would anyone need more than two at most? [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] I will say though that the spring decompressing with safety on is pretty awesome.
I have 1 M4 and it's half made out of wood and pipe fittings :v:
I feel the same way. I just bought an M4 then customized it the way I wanted, but i dont intend on buying another one, I just mod the one I have. If anything, companies should sell standalone upper receivers for their M4/M16's that you can buy then put shit on.
Having just recently sold my Combat Machine, I have resolved that the only way that I will buy another AR will be if it is a G&P full-length rifle.
I had CA M15, but it sucked and crapped out so I got a G&G Combat Machine. Than I got a VFC for my Birthday. I had two M4's and since I didn't need two I sold my G&G to a friend. I may consider getting a Real Sword M4 when they come out. In which I may sell my VFC unless I can find a different role for it which is pretty unlikely.
and its amazing [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] @felix
Personally I like the look of sights way forward on the gun, but from a strict practicality standpoint it's a bad idea as your sight picture is too small and you get parallax issues.
As long as he shoots both eyes open, I don't think it'll affect sight picture negatively. For some reason, it reminds me of an AK, since a lot of the tacticool ones have optics mounted on the ultimak gas tube, really far forward.
Who needs M4s when there are T91s to go around?
If I buy an AR it will be a patriot

It's not something you use to actually aim the gun for one-shot-one-kill silliness, but rather makes it a lot easier to ID bogeys and walk your fire onto people at long range. I used it to great effect today to get hits on things like a player's arm poking out behind a tree 150 feet away, they never expect it because even if your gun isn't the most accurate or long-ranged you can just arc, spray, and walk using the scope and get a hit. Mine was a cheap replica too, something like $48 from eHobbyAsia so it has next to no eye relief, but it still does the job.
Hit the gym. How much does it weigh?
Ender had to get a pair of bigger flecktarn pants because he didn't fit into his old ones anymore. I also think he should hit the gym C:
Slapped this together out of spare parts...no dust cover or fire selector, missing a body pin but it's remarkably comfortable as a machine pistol!
