And i did some stuff to the M4 i built.

I got rid of the chinashit ASAP plate and got a magpul grip without the stupid back part, and bought an ancient CA RIS for £5 from the second hand bins at an airsoft show i went to, love it. Will probably invest some money in a nicer quality one and some better sights now i've learned how much i like the look, but i'm not happy with the gas block/front sight setup at the moment, it looks awkward. I'm thinking of painting the upper half of it camo or something, no idea what though.
I'm also thinking of switching to an A2 reciever and front sight, but i can't decide.
In other news, my dad's new camera takes some seriously fucking high-res pictures. That's scaled down 50%.
I kind of like that M4. I actually somewhat like M4s and M4 derivatives with long barrels, I never could like the really stubby M4 models.

So, after years of pining and lurking in this subforum I finally got myself my first airsoft gun! A crappy P226 Springer made by KWC/Cybergun!
First thing I did when I got it was paint it black (it was clear), which is no doubt illegal, but hey I'm never going to use it outside my home.

I know it's nothing special but for me it's something exciting, UK airsoft laws being as stupid as they are, and my parents being so anti-gun, this is as good as I can get at the moment.

I don't so far! Accuracy is a bit erratic but it's fun to shoot, me and my bro drew an orc onto a huge piece of cardboard and shot him repeatedly in the goolies.

Not sure, i've not had any issues with mine and neither has my brother, and we've been using them for a while.
The only minor issue we've had is that it's difficult to fit the wires into the grip properly as standard, and you have to modify the grip baseplate a bit by cutting down two parts to make the wires fit in properly.

Mine seems fine thus far, then again I only bought it yesterday.
I put some masking tape on the sides of the mag so that it doesn't rattle in the gun, kind of annoying that only 1 mag comes with it though...

Yes. I know a few techs from the shops around here and they all say it tilts it at a slightly off angle, can cause problems for some guns. Personally I've run them on my guns, but I can hear a slight difference in sound, nothing major though.

So I got myself a sidearm and an Extended Mag for it. Just to have more ammo then the other guy shooting at me. Normal mag was like 5 - 6 euros, EM was 7.
