Are they all shell ejecting? Do you just leave the shells lying around while playing a game and then go around and collect them after the round is over?
I think he uses a shell catcher bag on the side when he's playing.

During CQB the refs and all the players basically know who the shells belong to so everyone picks them up for him. During field play he says he usually stays in one spot while he is firing then picks up the shells once he gets shot.

Other questions:
So far I've only used my shotguns in my indoor arena, and I'm a regular so all Maruzen shells are mine except for once. I normally just pick up shells up on every death or when I change positions.
My favorite, uhhhh...
Either the grip shorty or the big M1100, they were my first two.

I would get a Maruzen in a heartbeat, but it'd have to be a full stock, full length 870. I just can't do those tiny M1100's. Not enough shells per load nor does it look as good to me.
What about a full-size M1100?
The M1100 just doesn't look nearly as fun as the 870
You highly underestimate dual wielding semi automatic shotguns.
