Yeah. I traded Mich for the wood handguard and black pistol grip, added Mock Suppressor, and now has Black and a Bakelite mag
Thank god today was sunny and I found my digital camera! July 4th shall be the day my Soviet guns truly shine

I'm done taking photos of my same guns over and over, next one will probably be me using them or something
Bakelite mag
looks like its a plum mag man
doesnt matter because plum in general looks gr8
I wanna stick my dick into those guns......
...my plate carrier...
I understand that some people think it looks cool but it seems like you would be at a tactical disadvantage from having such a heavy piece of apparel on considering that airsoft guns typically don't kill you
plate carrier does not mean you go out and buy actual sapi to put in it
I know somebody that does that...........
plate carrier does not mean you go out and buy actual sapi to put in it
they still weigh a ton
[editline]4th July 2012[/editline]
and they're generally pretty expensive too
I can hold my plate carrier up with my little finger. They're not heavy.
They're only heavy when you put mags and stuff in them, but that's also the same with, well, any form of loadbearing equipment ever invented.
So I thought my M4 wasn't tan enough.

Next step I'm planning to get an 10" CQBR barrel on there, possibly tomorrow if one of the shops has an appropriate barrel in stock.
Any suggestions are welcome, I could entertain reasonable ideas. Right now though it feels pretty complete.
You could do with a rear flipup sight. Even if you're not going to use it, it looks strange to have a fixed front sight and nothing at the back. Alternatively, get a low-profile gas block if you're just gonna use your eotech.
And you could paint the rail covers the same color as everything else, they look kind of strange as a different shade of tan.
it's stupid not to have backup sights. if the battery dies in that eotech or you start throwing the gun around you'll probably end up without any working sights
you can play airsoft without sights
you can play airsoft without sights
What this guy said...especially when there's wind, I adjust for that instead of aiming. Most of the time I've been leaving my sight off for various reasons anyway and just using my front sight as a rough guide.

I could steal the MBUS rear sight off my A&K masada, should do nicely.
The rail covers have been bugging me for a while and I plan to either ditch them or repaint them. Just haven't gotten to it yet.

I never even use my sight. My aimpoint is only really on my gun for looks. I just watch where the bb goes and compensate from there.

Please keep the 14.5" barrel. It looks so sexy like this.

I second this. Paint the rail covers though.
In light of Independence Day, I remembered that I had spare velcro and a US flag patch I don't have room for on my plate carrier, so I did this:

What batteries are you guys using for your crane stocks? I have two crane stock batteries from EliteAirSoftBatteries but when I put them in my gun I can only use length setting 5, and maybe 4 if I'm lucky. The wires on the battery seem short, I don't know what other way I can put them in to be able to use every setting. I prefer using length 4 or 5 but being able to make it shorter for closer quarters and such would be nice.

my plate carrier was under $60
and I can name way more people that own plate carriers than people who prefer webgear
[editline]5th July 2012[/editline]
and it's not all that heavy, but I like carrying equipment for teammates
My plate carrier is only heavy when I put shit on it, Like 6 fully loaded high caps, a utility pouch filled with shit and a radio pouch with a waterbottle in it. By it's self its fairly light and comfy. Still would like a more open vest for when the weather is hotter.

Hello
That + CM048M with blond furniture (both guns weathered)
Cm045 or Cm035? or Dboys?
cm035, gonna see if i can give it a weathered look and get the shitty flash hider off of it. I've heard they're on there welded/glued and they're extremly hard to get off. Gonna see if i can a supressor, fix the wood, fix the bakelite, and get new mags.
I wouldn't weather it. Did it to my CM035 years ago and it rusted horribly within a couple of weeks.
Not exactly weather, but give it a S.TA.L.K.E.R-esque look through paints. I'm trying to actually make it look a little rusty but not actually /rusty/. Thanks for the tip though.
