How does the pistol grip feel with the paint on? It's a valid question to anyone who paints their grip with Rustoleum yeah, but good time to ask since I've always wondered.
Um, normal? What do you mean exactly?
Um, normal? What do you mean exactly?
Well seeing as I've never felt what Rustoleum feels like when dry on plastic, I'm inclined to believe it'd be annoying, rough, or slightly uneven. Good paintjob = normal feeling?
It just feels normal.
I think there may be some kind of misunderstanding though. The paints I used are just regular ol' general use spray paint. It just happens to be Rustoleum brand, since Krylon is harder to find here.
It's not Rustoleum anti-rust/for metal spray only paint
I think it looks pretty sexy, the mismatched rail covers look kind of cool. Not a fan of those pistolgrips personally, but it doesn't look too bad there.
The torch also looks a little big and goofy to me but the paintjob looks great/
holy random tan and rail covers everywhere
So why was it okay until I put a shorter barrel on it? Pics when it was long everyone said it was god.
I plan to get a new light, and a PEQ-15
EDIT: Not mad, just everyone loved it until now haha.
i like everything about it except the URX rail covers are kinda ehh
i'd like it a lot better if you went ladder covers all the way
I actually ran out so I switched to URX also, but I kinda dig it.
I don't like the rail. Why such an awfully long rail just for a flashlight?
Because going to add a PEQ, and it originally had a full length barrel.
Wouldn't the flashlight get fucked up from being so close to the muzzle?
Kawaii, get a suppressor on that
I'm really not a fan of intentional two tone tan/black guns.
I like Kawaii's gun. It looks pretty A-Team as fuck. I guess I just like the "end-of-muzzle-sticking-out-of-long-RIS" look; Chris Costa did it, Ender did it, Vityaz did it, and now Kawaii's done it. If I didn't have a T91 and had an AR that was delta-ring friendly I'd do it too.
Nothing on that gun's overly tactical; the flashlight has a purpose, as does the Aimpoint+MBUS combination. The rail cover combination is okay; it's understandable that one would run out of rail covers of one kind and switch to another; it also helps with the VFG up front.

I did it too :<

Spray paint generally dries smooth, only textured paint and primer dry with a rough surface.

It's about three cm below it, it's fine.
I heard you people liked blonde AK's
Well, mine is the blondest :v:

I'm in the middle of giving it a darker and more red colour instead of the stock cyma brown/yellow varnish it comes with.
Also hi, I rarely post here and I'm a complete noobie.

With suppressor

NO LIGHT NO LIGHT

74UN with my AR flashhider for shits.
that 74 with flash AR flashhider looks real aggressive, I kinda like it

Then I took everything off the AR and it's actually really light and comfortable and awesome.

holy shit i forgot about vityaz he hasnt posted in awhile
afaik he's in Afghanistan
Personally I like your AR, Kawaii. Tbh I'd like to do something similar.
emags r cool
Emags >>>>>>> Pmags
Pmags look good in the Type 97 in my opinion. They make a decent substitute for QBZ-95 mags.

If I ever buy a Type 97 (me, buy an airsoft gun? :v:) I'm getting Pmags for it.

but for real
[t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMAG02272.jpg[/t]
I really want to just take out all the internals and bury / dirty up the body and make it look really worn and used, like it was left in afghanistan for a year and then found buried
