Except those don't look dumb and probably aren't the kind of tactical AK you're referring to.
I'm not saying the people behind the gun are stupid. Just the gun they're sporting never needed an "upgrade", i can see where a sight can come in handy and that it is the modern era and making a gun better for your job will help, but i just dislike it.

Mine didnt have any colored tip or anything to tell that it wasnt a real gun. Then again spain was somewhat like the USA with regards to guns in that you can carry them with a gun liscence tho not out in public, but like in a holster(not sure about now)
Turns out in 2010 at least there werent any rules for airsoft guns due to the laws being so old but apparently they were changng the laws at the time I dont know if they ever did tho
Well. Basic Airsoft rules are 1) You can't have them in open public 2) You should keep the (orange) tip 3) Don't point them at people. all the general stuff you'd have to be an idiot to do. Besides the orange tip who gives a shit about that. It's all mostly common sense
We don't have the orange tips in Poland :D Airsoft guns are considered toys by our law, however you still shouldn't wave them around in public because it may make people nervous.
In Germany, you can't have fully automatic airsoft guns. What the fuck.
No orange tips in Sweden, you need to be 18 to buy these toys, you can carry them around in bags in public.
If the cops catches you with one and you're under 18, they take it and destroy it (D':), if you're over 18, you're free to go.
In Finland you just need to be 18 to [b]buy[/b] and you shouldn't carry them in public

Airsoft laws in the US depend on which state you live in. Michigan is fairly lenient and doesn't require orange tips on guns, but they must be transported with a bag/box.

Thats one of the biggest reasons i don't like the look of my Mk.17 is because of how SHORT it is. I dig the long barrels, yo. And besides, you can't even bring the thing into CQB because it's 400 FPS stock. bluh bluh

Bright coloured guns unless you're over 18 and have a UKARA licence which is acquired for free by attending 3 skirmishes (using rentals). It's actually a fantastic way to make the little kiddies stand out with their bright orange "H&K P90+" unfortunately some sites are now offering the colour painting scheme but they do it tiger striped or digital camo. Which actually would look decent if it wasn't garishly bright colours so I'm sticking with my jet black.

Got my Evike order in. Included were a G&P Scope mount and suppressor for my M14. Now my M14 weighs as much as my M249.

I have a Cyma M4 and believe it or not it performs great. I swear, the thing has as much range as my friend's brand new G&G M14 EBR. I shit you not. We were shooting side by side downrange and I was comparing the ranges. The trigger response/ROF is really good also. I guess I got lucky, it's hit or miss with clone guns.
