The killer is definitely his own worst enemy.
really though, another good example would be the Flying Tigers P-40. they were painted RAF dark earth/green, the same color as the early Spitfires and Hurricanes.

sun and tropical environments can take a huge toll on a vehicle's colors.
no u dumases, it chameleon paint, it adapts
So the screwhole for the grip broke on the gun, leaving me unable to screw on the top screw on my grip.
And then this happened.

I FIX
spray it tan then call it a camo wrap
they will be none the wiser
I'm thinking of letting it get a beat-up look, kinda like how I've weathered my AK.

Hockey stick tape for holding the grip on. That way it'll be classy when weathered, not subsaharan.

It's gonna be pretty hard to weather a plastic gun and make it look good :v:
[editline]26th September 2012[/editline]
Maybe I could paint it and let the paint wear off over time?
Question is if an olive drab M9 look good though..

Spray paint it with a good metallic gray, then with black, then the black will wear off with use and show the metallic under it?
I would post a G&G Full Metal/ Pneumatic Blowback M16A2, but Airsoft GI in a stroke of genius decided to send me a G&G Sportline NBB M16A2. I paid in full for the better gun, and even the box the sport line showed up in says that it is Blowback and Full metal. The gun is not. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU

I've tried this once with an old springer, didnt work out too well. I think i'd stick to one layer of paint.
shitty photo because the lighting in my room is [del]orange and really dark[/del] sucks and i had to use the flash on my camera

my M4 is now no longer tactical or an m4 at all and is now a [I]~classy~ Colt Model 727[/I]
Improvised weapon light using a scope ring that's too low for the scope I got, paired with a questionable quality LED flashlight.

Fish and I cried tears of having wood and shit in our eyes while making that. Take care of our handiwork C:
PVC dust - oh my god PVC DUST
OH GOD that reminds me of a time up at our ranch when my dad and I found a coyote skull. I shook it and I swear I could hear the brain rattling around inside, so I took a dremel and tried to cut a square in the skull to look inside, and brain/skull dust almost killed me. Worst smell all years every year too.
in the end it wasn't even a brain, it was just mud that collected and dried inside.
Heh, I've dealt with much worse stuff at work. We have this weird pink prototyping material, think it's called Modulan, but I can't even find it online. Its sort of a high density, powder compressed into the shape of a block. It's easy to cut through it fast, making it ideal for prototyping, but the shit leaves a fine pink powder everywhere. After a day of machining the crap the whole shop seemed sort of cloudy and everything had a fine layer of pink shit on it, even on stuff that was 100ft away from where it was cut. It gets all over your clothes, hair, everything. You also need to wear a mask and goggles or this stuff just starts irritating you.
Cutting G10 Garolite (Circuit Board Material) is just as bad. Smells like burnt electronics when you're machining it, and it leaves a fine powder. It's an irritant if it gets on your arms, starts to itch. Not a good idea to breath that stuff in either, so I'm stuck wearing a mask when I work on it too.
Then there's everyday burns from cutting 1" thick aluminum stock on a table saw and having the hot chips fly at you. Life sucks at work at times.
Try welding. Fumes, hot stuff, and sparks. Fun times :)
Edit:
Aw fuck pageking kong

I know that smell, I was sawing deer antlers for a diy antler mount and the smell is like pure death. And it lingered in the garage for days.
