I just realized soemthing about my pink folding grip
I had originally ordered the non-folding version, but for some reason evike gave me the folding version (they did this a lot with my large order, but nothing too serious)
The folding version is $12 more than the normal version
I essentially got $12 free. Sweet :v:

If you dust it you won't risk fucking up and it will still look really sexy, just spray a a light spray of tan and rub around, rub hardest around areas that would be more prone to being cleared(grip, rails, etc)

This started out as a (CA SLR105-A1) AK74m. I got a Chinese made wood kit for it and refinished it, a Chinese made scope, a POSP silencer (Which hides an uncut 6.01mm PSG-1 Mad Bull barrel), a real gas block off of a Yugoslavian AK, a real leaf sight for the rear; with tritium clip-ons, an ergonomic grip just for the hell of it, and a magazine grip.
It also has a Gaurder mechanical blowback kit installed on it. Internally, it has all Systema Helical gears, an M130 spring, some chinese made aluminium piston with a ball bearing'd steel piston head (Ate all the composite shit), and a Systema Magnum motor. The hop-up is also all-metal, with the SCS nub and Systema bucking.
I had fun in my airsoft days. Way too much time and money tied up into this thing, and now it just sits.

Oh no I'm sure it works great, but yeah the body's finish and the little thing on the gas tube look funky. Polar opposite with my CA gun lol: excellent frame with shit internals.

The gas tube thing is a piece off of a Yugoslavian Zastava M70. It's a flip up leaf sight for grenades, that functions kind of like the M1 garand did. I got it because I'm primarily Yugoslavian, so it's a bit of a 'from home' sort of thing on the gun.
It fit on there without any modifications, which was kind of cool.

Nah, they stayed pretty true to form with the gun. [URL="http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1258"]This is what it looked like when I bought it.[/URL] Bone dry stock AK74m. Oddly enough, the gun was a total fluke. If I remember right CA's were about 300-350 FPS, and this thing chrono'd 415 out of the box, so it was a pretty cool buy. Not sure what it is today.

If it makes a difference, the mag grip is just a piece of rubber on the magazine it's self, so there's nothing hold it to the gun. Just switch mags to get rid of it. I like it for comfort. It's easier to hold it at the mag when prone and running. Similar story with the pistol grip. This gun is a big heavy son of a bitch now, so I'd rather be comfortable using it then true to AK form.
M70 grenade sights make me happy in the pants
that's why I love East Bloc accessories
they don't add more shit to the gun via rails, but more parts that was made for the gun

I boiled the fuck out of it, and then took it off with a vice clamp and channel locks.
They're backwards thread, so turn it to the right to get it off. Also, use tongs or something. It has to be boiling hot as you twist it. The flash hiders are glued on tight.
