Oh, there's one thing I forgot to mention:
If any of you are thinking of getting a Systema Magnum motor -- fucking do it.
If you have any kind of Mosfet, it WILL burn out, so remove them (I learned that the hard way), but that AK, even with the blowback and M130 spring, sits at around ~1200 rounds/min with a 9v battery.

or I could get 2 lonex motors for the same price
[editline]2nd December 2012[/editline]
i mean yeah ill admit systema motors are very damn good, but I don't know many people who would be willing to put down $100 for a motor
no offense but seeing from your parts choice it seems like you were into airsoft when all upgrades were overpriced and underperforming
there are much cheaper and better alternatives now
I've seen pistons that outlast systema motors...
system supercore piston master race hhhehehe (don't ask me it came with my gun lololol)

This started out as a (CA SLR105-A1) AK74m. I got a Chinese made wood kit for it and refinished it, a Chinese made scope, a POSP silencer (Which hides an uncut 6.01mm PSG-1 Mad Bull barrel), a real gas block off of a Yugoslavian AK, a real leaf sight for the rear; with tritium clip-ons, an ergonomic grip just for the hell of it, and a magazine grip.
It also has a Gaurder mechanical blowback kit installed on it. Internally, it has all Systema Helical gears, an M130 spring, some chinese made aluminium piston with a ball bearing'd steel piston head (Ate all the composite shit), and a Systema Magnum motor. The hop-up is also all-metal, with the SCS nub and Systema bucking.
I had fun in my airsoft days. Way too much time and money tied up into this thing, and now it just sits.
What camera do you use?

rofl wrong thread
Clearly there's a difference between our guns that wasn't accounted for. I couldn't even get the pin that holds it still down even with a shit-ton of boiling. So I gave up and hack sawed the pin off and it turns out there was absolutely no glue on flash hider itself. That, and I turned it left to get it off.
Thanks anway.
Who's the manufacturer of yours? Sounds like D-Boys or something.
Anyway, yeah, it's been a LONG time since I was in the airsoft scene. Who are the big names now for parts?

Lonex, SHS, SiegeTek, Systema are some that I can thing of off the top of my head.

First 3 are definitely new to me, but why the hate for Systema then if they're still in the game. Price based or something?
very, very much subpar and horrendously overpriced compared to lonex/shs/siegetek
[editline]3rd December 2012[/editline]
tbh systema today is only a big name to new people who see the price and think they must be the most pro parts
SHS parts are amazing. Same gear set and same piston for over a year now.
siegeteks are literally the best gears ever. (after shimano of course :v:)
SRAM gears > Shimano
SRAM gears > Shimano
What a fucking joke.
get out you scrubs
Campagnolo best gears
Schwinn gears best gears. Did you guys know I collect old bikes? (Pre/during WW2) Right now I have a 1932 Hiawatha cruiser with a big ass sprocket for racing. Pics in better weather if you guys want.

only the rich men that decided that lambos and ferraris are for homeless people collect warbirds
I want an Me-109 :C
I want an Me-109 :C
I want an actual legit 109 with a Diamler Benz engine; I've no need for a shitty Spanish reproduction HA-112 that people try to pass off as Messerschmitts

The intake vent under the nose is a dead giveaway, that thing just looks fat.
I feel that while on the topic of older airplanes I should mention that during WW2 a scrapyard near my grandfathers house had a decommissioned p-51 mustang that was missing an engine and some patches of metal from it. He said he would sit in it with friends and pretend to slaughter nazis.

steven spielberg did that as a kid too
and then he filmed his friends and him in it and manipulated the camera to make the planes look like they were diving and climbing and then he snipped gun camera footage he bought from trading posts, etc and attached them to the footage he took to make air combat movies starring him and his friends and family.
