Yeah its nice, but its also so damn heavy that I never use it anymore. Unless I've got something to rest the barrel on, aiming gets real tiring a few hours into the day. I haven't even taken it out of its box since I moved.

Nope, everybody was so gung-ho about not leaving the fight I never had time to pull it out. Sure would have been nice to have at a couple separate points, but mostly useless for the CQB we did anyways.

Personally, I think our squad was way better than the Hailstorm squad. We held out in that one corner room against a solid 4 or 5 breachings. We made them kiddie diddlers pay :v:

I don't remember the Hailstorm squad at all. As far as I'm concerned, we did well and that's all that matters. Assuming we go back in 2013 I expect better though.
Provided I can get a radioman to sift through the crap, I'd consider running squad leader this time too.

I hope we can get as much of our same squad back next year. That'd be awesome. Now that I know what to expect I can adjust my gear to better suit the op. (ie not an 11 pound battle rifle and maybe sleeping the night before :v:)

I'm not feelin' medic unless I get my hands on XM/CAR handguards. So I don't have to tote around the M203.
Or if it comes down to it, I'll make a nice block 1 M4.

I'm not gonna run any weapon larger than an M4, and no more dual wielding primaries.
Depending on how many magazines I can get and how well it works, I'll probably just stick to the SR-3 with an MP5K in backup.
I know my regular bros are planning to go, so I imagine we'll do a fireteam of them and a fireteam of IFAP unless we can magically get a bunch more guys.

Yeah, the top of the converter is an AR mag, otherwise it wouldn't work at all. You could always go totally crazy and get one of the G&P 9mm lowers for maximum functioning.
