Looks like its painted on, so some nail polish remover/alcohol should get it right off
afaik most we/sg guns are just glued weakly into the outer barrel and a pair of pliers will remove them

It looks like an adapter threaded into the barrel. You could try and unscrew it from the barrel, but it is most likely glued
Okay, I've done this before. Run it under hot water for a bit then just twist it off. Then scrub the orange off using nail polish remover and you'll have a nice silver threading adapter. c:
If it's a threaded metal like on the black MEU then you can't just simply take it off, it's part of the barrel.
