m16 vn and my d-boys m4 in super seaqueuebee mode. (its soooooooooo wield-y like this. incredibly easy to just jam a mag in it when reloading. also the safetys broken and fires it in semi instead, and the trigger gets stuck when firing it on semi and i have to manually reset it. auto works fine)

oh and its missing some parts after 6 years[/QUOTE]
I hate those M16 "A1"s that aren;'t A1s but just other models with a triangular handgaurd slapped on there
you should fix that shit, yo
i'm highly tempted to buy m16a2 handguards
[editline]10th January 2013[/editline]
a1 handguards with a 30 rnd stanag just look funky. a2 handguards pull off 30 rnds and 20 rnders perfectly.
So I was pondering how to get a folding stock on my Type 89 without actually buying a whole new $500 gun with that being the only minor difference when I was bored enough to try and fix a buffer tube to my Type 89.
Short answer; You can. But it took a bit of fiddling. In the end the screw that holds the buffer tube in place looked like this because the M4 screw was too short and the Type 89 screw was too long so this was the compromise I had, using a bunch of nuts as spacers.

The buffer tube was centered and amazingly it sat right between the gearbox rail and the stock stabilizer thingy. Not sure if this is bad for the gun or how far deep that screw ended up going but that's that.

The result was a really nice gun to shoulder. It looks good too in my opinion. Throw a rail system on this thing and I can be really high speed, low drag.

i think a rail system at this point would look gaudy as hell. It looks great like it is now.

It's more of a necessity than something I want really bad. After running an M4 all this time I really need those features to feel right with me, like a rail system, foregrip, LE Stock for example. I'm kinda like trying to turn my Type 89 into an M4 without just going back to using my M4.
Right now, the way that foregrip is put on the Type 89 handguard is likely to snap the thing in half if I put too much pressure on it, hence why I want a rail system. Also I can get a PEQ box which means no retarded battery compartment and I can mount flashlights onto that rail system as well.
It kind of looks like an M4 now. I am sad, I enjoy the Type 89
It still retains the body shape of the Type 89, which is nice. As long as the rail won't obstruct too much of the gas block, it should be fine.

What other things should I draw on the side of my rifle?
KEBAB REMOVER
anal secretion
Does no one else find the remove kebab thing offensive given than it pertains to Bosnian Serb war crimes?
It's worse than painting Remove Taco and on par with painting Remove Kosher on your gun.
not really
I had no idea Remove Kebab had any actual meaning behind it.

G&G G980 Kar98K replica. Runs on CO2. This is after I put an original Czech VZ-24 stock on it.

Really shows how shit the standard stock is when you compare them like that, looks amazing.
What was the original, plastic? I bet the one you replaced it with feels a hundred times better to hold.
That's gorgeous.
The original actually is wood, and not bad wood at that. It's just covered in some sort of weird acrylic coating; I plan on stripping it and refinishing it to see how it looks.
Jesus christ that looks beautiful. How does it shoot?
I heard the entire bolt of the G980 is like shit pot metal and parts start to noticably wear down a few mm after like 100 cycles.

No. That was a trigger assembly on early models; G&G offers free replacement with a steel assembly if you got that version; new ones do not have the issue. Mine is one of the new ones.
Wally: It's hard to say. I damaged the bucking so its performance is degraded currently. I am waiting for them to send me a replacement for it. That said, its performance isn't bad even with a damaged hop, I just have issues with BB's getting jammed up occasionally. I'm going to do some more detailed range and accuracy testing once I get the part replaced.
Oh hey it's that mine-dog guy.
Hi Waxx, I didn't know you were an airsofter. Welcome to the club, bro.
Thanks. What's funny is that I made fun of airsoft for years, then finally played it and got hooked. How about that.
Heres my newest Edition, "The Forrest King"

I know it doesnt seem like much, and performance wise, its not. Its just a $90 walmart gun (but performs pretty well for one). However its more than just that to me, it has sentimental value. My good bro gave it to me as a going away present since I'm moving to Colorado soon, and I wont be able to airsoft with him anymore. It was a pretty misty-eyed moment. I've only ever airsofted without him once, and I missed the fuck out of him when I did.
So yeah, it might not be the best gun in the world, but god fucking dammit I'm gonna use the shit out of it until its completely broken and unfixable

The funniest part is that its better than my Famas v:v:v
