that's very pretty I enjoy it
My brother lost my spare mag in the field, I'm sad now.
For the AK or for the tok?
For the AK or for the tok?
My tokarev. 10 rounds isn't enough for a skirmish
Did you ask any of the admins after? Someone may have turned it in
I found a mac laying on the ground today. I turned it in. Karma better hook me the fuck up.
look at what just arrived [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMAG0531.jpg[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMAG0532.jpg[/t] just a mock-up, the stock is on top of the gun. it needs a lot of dremel work, and the pistol grip is going to be really tough.
maximum jelly achieved i would have gotten one of the M14 stocks cubeman was selling ages ago but shipping something that size across the atlantic = muchos expendito
Traded the WE SVD for a E1/CYMA RPK and a S&T Tavor. Yes I know these guns are cheaper than the SVD, but shit they're a hell of a lot more practical and useful than the SVD will ever be. Had to do some hop-up work on these. Previous owner sprayed too much silicon spray into the RPK hop-up unit and got a BB jammed in there. Removed the BB and bucking and replaced it with a spare REAPs bucking I had laying around, feeds fine now. S&T didn't look like it's hop-up was working at all. Opened it up to find a poorly molded bucking that was putting 3 points of contact on the bb at the 12, 4, and 7 oclock positions. Threw that away and installed a guarder bucking along with some M16 length tightbore I had laying around. To cover the longer barrel I used my M249 barrel extension, as it's the only muzzle device I have that's CW threading. After those quick fixes they both work fine, still need to do chrono tests later on. The Tavor is growing on me. It looks cheap with it's shiny plastic, but it's actually quite a solid body. It's only the top rail and handguard that move around or flex. Gearbox sounds a bit rough, louder than it should be. Motor seems pretty weak too, ROF isn't any where near my other guns using the same 7.4v lipo.
Why does the 249 barrel look good on literally everything?
because it just does (ehobby sells A&K 249 barrels under ad classic for $11 in case anyone wants one for something) [editline]21st January 2013[/editline] is the tavor disassembly a massive pita
the front half of a 249 barrel is threaded on. Somebody put on on a g36 and it made it stalker length, now theres one on a tavor.
Disassembling the S&T Tavor is pretty straight forward. All the screws you remove use the same size allen wrench. I pretty much removed everything except the gearbox and trigger/selector components. The gearbox didn't look too hard to take out but I didn't do it.
wait isn't the hopup integrated with the gearbox or did they change that from the ares
Nope, hop-up is separate from the gearbox.
Is it a plastic gearbox one or one of the newer metal gearbox ones?
They apparently have an EBB version now too, I came across it on one of the gooksites.
It's the metal gearbox version, but not the EBB version.
First project of the new year, a revamp of a loveable classic:

I was tempted to try that back when I had my SAW, but my M4's flash hider is stuck. [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline] sideways

Yeah I'd love to know where. My searches on red alliance haven't yielded anything much.
where did you get the flashhider?
I got it from PX Airsoft. It's the PRI MSTN QCB muzzle brake.
