Honestly, doesn't look much like bakelite to me, should be much brighter orange and shiny.

M3 lights are the best pistol lights in existence short of the surefire designs like the X300, which in itself is just a fancier version of the M3. Also, how's the gas efficiency with the suppressor attached? I've thought about doing the same thing to mine but I didn't want to throw money down the drain.

The suppressor doesnt really affect gas efficiency, my main problem is the threading adapter and the suppressor itself both dont tighten down very well, because the adapter has cw threads, and the suppressor has ccw threads, so trying to tighten down the suppressor unscrews the adapter. So if I'm firing it, the suppressor and adapter unscrew themselves. I actually lost my last adapter that way. I've been wanting to locktight down the adapter, but I dont have any so I havnt.

What kind of suppressor and adapter are you using? I'll probably try to find a foam filled suppressor but yours looks really fitting.
