I'm not even remotely up to date on german pistols. It's a miracle I realised it wasn't even a real firearm.
Do you have the stock outer barrel? If I recall the kp08 outer isn't threaded to accept adapters?
If you look carefully the orange tip is a metal part threaded onto the barrel. It had me going there for a minute too.
If you look carefully the orange tip is a metal part threaded onto the barrel. It had me going there for a minute too.
actually, the stock barrel isnt threaded. The orange end is painted on and the barrel flares out so that it doesnt need a barrel bushing. I had to buy a barrel with threads( that adapter came with it) and a barrel bushing, which I had to grind down in a few spots for it to fit.
Totally just need to get that flash hider and the flashlight and I hope to be near your level of perfect AK. [editline]23rd January 2013[/editline] In other news, my friend has leant me his L119A1 as for some blufor shenanigans this sunday as he's using his systema. A sturdier piece of kit there is not.
Forgive my ignorance, I'm still learning about airsoft, but if this is an AEG, where is your battery housed? All the M4's I've seen with that type of original M4 stock either have the battery in the hand guard or in a PEQ box if the hand guard is an RIS, however this is railed and I see no PEQ box. [editline]24th January 2013[/editline] I only ask because I really really really want a railed M4 with that type of stock without having to use a PEQ box.
You can get stock tube batteries, but you can't collapse the stock fully with it in there and usually need a buttplate to stop the battery falling out the back.

i would like to know how he got that paint on the stock like that
I'll ask him.
Latest pickup: [t]http://i.imgur.com/lgm38m8.jpg[/t] S-thunder step and release mine, I have some really nasty ideas for this thing :v: Pretty good size too, way smaller than I thought it was going to be.
i would like to know how he got that paint on the stock like that
My guess is just spray it, wait for it to almost dry, then dig some gravel with it?
It's a real steel stock apparently, I couldn't tell at the time it currently feels pretty sturdy although I don't plan on wacking it against things. It was done with normal house paint, just used a bunch of sticks, twigs and cut up some stencils out of cardboard and crammed it all on the stock so he could give it a real rugged effect. Pretty awesome if I do say so myself and it doesn't want to chip off.
It finally got here! Will be airsofting tomorrow! [T]http://i49.tinypic.com/154x642.jpg[/T] EDIT: Why aren't my TIMG tags working?
Sweet! But what's up with the gay instagrammy filterrape
...And that awful watermark. [editline]/[/editline] This is exactly how useful that watermark is: [editline]/[/editline] Did you get your UKARA then?

wat how are you supposed to go airsofting with a non-painted gun without UKARA if you're britland?
Huzzah. Have fun man, hope you enjoy yourself with all your new kit. [editline]26th January 2013[/editline]
wat how are you supposed to go airsofting with a non-painted gun without UKARA if you're britland?
n n n n n n n n not how ukara works only need ukara as a valid defence to buy the gun not to use it or own it, technically is legal for someone with ukara to buy a gun then gift it to someone else.
It finally got here! Will be airsofting tomorrow! [t]http://i49.tinypic.com/154x642.jpg[/t] EDIT: Why aren't my TIMG tags working?
It's [t] now. But what I wanted to say was that you should flip that sling buckle so the lever piece is facing downwards. That way when you let the gun hang, the weight doesn't sit on the lever. I'll show you what I mean: [editline].[/editline] Attach it like this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/TvNByld.jpg[/t] So this doesn't happen to you: [t]http://i.imgur.com/szxg9O5.jpg[/t] I made that mistake the first day I played last summer, it busted the lever a tad (bent a little and it got a bit loose so now it moves left and right, but it still works perfectly). Just a word of advice so the same doesn't happen to you when you play tomorrow.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/yuuDroy.jpg[/t] another piece of the puzzle! Also, they sent me a VFC M4 outer barrel instead of a VFC scar one.
WE'VE GO

Just wondering how he got the gun - is it one of yours, Northy? UKARA is not a government run body, but rather a simple database of regular airsoft players/re-enactment participants founded by some of the larger airsoft shops back in 2006 or something. It's just a really easy way for Customs & Excise to look you up if you're importing stuff, or for a retailer to know that they're selling to someone 18 and a regular player. Beyond that, it's not really an issue. In fact you can buy RIFs without UKARA simply by stating your regular skirmishing site and proving you're 18 (which they'll do for you anyway). Yeh, umm, UKARA is a bit weird.

Huh, hard to tell. Fair enough then, he did get a written letter of approval from a firearms officer at his local police station. From a legal standpoint that's just as much of a valid defence as a UKARA licence, can't fault it.
Yup erm, weirdly my driving instructor told me of a story when he got fined for having what was effectively a pellet rifle in the back of his car. He couldn't prove it was being transported (apparently his family owns some country 'lifestyle' shop and said rifle was a gift from someone else that was meant to be taken home). Anyway, he was stopped for some non-matter with the gun in the back of his car and in court was ordered to pay a fine of £1200. Not really comparable to airsoft, but obviously you should just make sure you have a carrying case and all that jazz so you don't get arrested under VCRA.

Same AK 3rd Variant 3rd Receiver hhehehheeu [editline]28th January 2013[/editline] I intend to remove the stupid Javelin shit asap that brand doesn't deserve to be written on my AK
your AK deserves a selector switch.
The gun has a mind of it's own and doesn't like selector switches that being said, it's actually very easy to tap the trigger on it
Just glue one in there for the looks.
