:D I wish you luck with the build. Wait so is it for you or your friend?
My buddy's.
So now my M727 is done i decided to compile all the pictures i took of it as i changed bits of it. May be slightly out of order and missing one or two iterations but these are all the pictures i took of it, from 2011-2013. Didn't even know i'd had it two years untill i looked at the dates on some of these. [img_thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9988278/airsoft2013/guns/m4_2011-2013.jpg[/img_thumb]
Oh god it's that thing? Wow, I looked at the first pic and was all like "omfg I remember this" Awesome.
It's shotgun time! Full-stocked ACM M500 with heatshield. A little awkward for close quarters, though. How about a pistol grip? What's that? You want the best of both worlds? Or maybe you just like to keep something handy for close encounters? Basically, I managed to acquire a fucked-up full-length M500 with spare furniture through a trade, then bought a chrome pistol-gripped one off ASGI when it was on sale. So now I have a whole bunch of shotgun parts and no idea what configuration I actually want to use, but have duplicates of more or less everything so when something breaks I can fix it. What's your favorite?
full or folding stock
full stock all the way every day.

Ugh, I wish I could appreciate the M500, but it just doesn't do it for me at all. That said I like the folding stock because it looks the least like an M500.
My dream shotgun would be a short barrel trishot with a rifle stock. Sadly, I don't think that there are any rifle stocks compatible with trishots. I just love the short barrel long stock look though.
folder folder folder!

Get a shorty M3 and then just kind of frankengun it.
Eridani MOTHERFUCKING technologies fuck we're already working on a project WE"LL DO IT ANYWAY GIVE US MONIE RECIEVE GAT WE'LL DO IT LIVE
give me an estimate for either just a stock or a trishot with stock.
It would be easier for us to buy a trishot and fit it to that so that we have the physical gun to take measurements from. Like we're doing with our other WORLD FIRST secret project, it's easier to give us a budget and see what we can do. What type of stock are you thinking? I think a Lr300 folder would be sicknasty swag which eliminates the use of a buffer, or do you mean like an M16 full stock

Ah, okay. Shouldn't be too much at all, Could you throw together a paint chop up of exactly what you want?
I am also interested in various trishot stocks.
[editline]1st February 2013[/editline] 14-15" Length of pull would be choice. [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] actually, 14 because gear.

Hell, if you could source a cheap beater wood stock and make that fit, that would be badass too.
the full stock with pistol grip is a completely different shape, and like i said, I'm not a frankengunner. It's also probably much too short for that.
Kind of wanted to do something unique with my shotgun, so I tried to replicate a light greenish-grey Parkerized finish I've seen. (I used this on the mediocre chrome finish, so I can switch back to black any time) Main problem is it scrapes off and chips very easily, so what I might do is pick up a can of a light aircraft grey (Testor's makes one with a hint of that green-yellow tone), sand the metal down to remove as much of the finish as possible, and redo it.
