Okay ill tell.
So I'm gonna give Kath and Deathmog 500 bucks for their airsoft accessory production if they can build me a working G11 airsoft rifle.
Stuff is currently being planned and I'm hyped as shit :v:
Well, the largest portion of that money is going into production since the only real G11's that exist belong to the Bundeswehr or are in a museum so everything like molds and such are all having to be custom made. Perhaps we can make one or two more after Gren's and regain some of the money since we might have to come out of pocket for molds and shit.
True, but hey might be profitable to make them since they're really unique.
I'll be sure to mention you guys everytime I use it in a video, and the review ofcourse.
gren, have my babies
this is a huge thing for us c:
plus we've almost got it figured how we'll get the prototype together for the molds we'll make of it, but that's of course after we get it all done on the computer
mags will be a bitch
mags will be a bitch
They shouldn't be, G11 mags are a straight line. Making a midcap G11 mag is like the simplest thing imaginable, and you just use a P90 hopup to have it feed.
The problem is in reality we don't have the funds after making the gun itself to be custom making mags, having to make multiple and then having to manufacture more if he wants more is the problem.
(Although that isn't stopping me from trying to figure out how to do the vertical mags anyway)
So will the magazine be moving like in real?
Maybe have the "magwell" located within the gun, and hook it up to an ebb system
In order to keep the magazine feeding properly, have the internals spring loaded so while the magazine moves, the internals stay in place
Dunno, something I pulled outta my sss
EBB is probably gonna make things a million times more complicated, and I can only imagine the engineering nightmare it will be to make the mag move and still maintain constant feeding. Also I think you could get tm uzi mags or any straight aep mag, and put some metal on the end to make it longer. Or take out the internals and put them in a custom shell. Also you're probably gonna have to make a new hopup unit that feeds from the top.

so uh
like a p90 hopup
so uh

God dammit why can't I think. I guess the gun could really just be a p90 in a different shell with a new mag.

Vote me bad reading. owait.
As far as I know, it's gonna be feeding from a 20 round Stanag mag which will be hidden inside the body.
If you're having a mag setup like that then connect the fake magazine on top to the piston, That way it'll wiggle back and forth when it fires like the real G11 mag does.
Bonus points for 3 round burst mode.
So is it gonna be pneumatic blow back?

It would have to be light as fuck and provide NO friction otherwise that's going to jam up the mechbox real fast.

We like and appreciate everyones comments and recommendations, but only features that Gren wants and are monetarily feasible will be considered.
I'd assume something like this would work(i know its terrible but it was like a 10 minutes mockup and the hugeass blue thing is a giant lipo that could be removed like the G&G MP5 with the lipo handguard)

P* G11 with the HPA tank in the same space where the germany future magic goes in the real gun

QUESTION ABOUT P*!
How does one refill said airtank? A pump?

scuba shot or paintball place
you blow into the tank reeeeaaally hard
So unless you have access to another air tank or a compressor you're completely fucked if the air runs out?
Seems pretty useless unless it's just one match.

It's a non-blowback system that can be tuned for optimal air efficiency, firing a projectile with (depending on muzzle vel) about a tenth the muzzle energy of a paintball. It takes a lot of shooting to run out with a P*.
Unless you're a support gunner on a 3-day OP you won't run out if you have a good gorrila/ninja carbon fiber tank.
Or any other tank. A 20oz 3000PSI tank is a 20oz 3000PSI tank, doesn't matter who makes it.
