What did you do to make the mags look like that? That's kind of the look I want to go for but with more of a plum color instead of the dirty look. Kind of like this.
How is the M79? I want one so bad.
It's solid, aside from a very slight wobble around the trigger and firing pin assembly.
It does the job well firing these: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=999
443 just cuz thats the first 3 digit number I saw.
I just watered down (ALOT of water) some brown acrylic art paints. (Liquitex works really well) You could probably just use a plum color as a substitute for brown for that look

First of all, bakelite. Too bad there aren't any real bakelite mags :(
First of all, bakelite. Too bad there aren't any real bakelite mags :(
I once wanted to buy some old real bakelite mags and somehow put BB-mags internal part into the bakelite mag, but was little bit too expensive..
So I may be moving back home (To New Zealand... indescribably happy), and the law there is basically no automatic weapons. Including airsoft. What sites do Semi-auto only? I look and I'll see a gun I like then see its Automatic.
to all of you

Oh. So these darker ones aren't actually bakelite.
THE MORE YOU KNOW

You can ship mags fine.
But the 1994 ban also included large capacity magazines (i.e. higher than 10 rounds) so they'd have to have been made before 94 for us to get them (in the US anyways)
Important: we ship deactivated weapons, replica weapons, gun parts and everything that remotely looks like a weapon only to Sweden, Estonia and Russia
How is putting an empty magazine on a plane dangerous?
How is putting an empty magazine on a plane dangerous?
it could hurt someone seriously, even empty.
[sp]:v:[/sp]
because it might blow up :)

FUCKING NINJA'D
you could buy all the parts and build it yourself.
They're called magazine repair kits.
Its how you buy high capacity mags in California.

None of that describes a magazine.
it reads on the site: "...because apparently, shipping empty magazines is "dangerous"."
AKA they want to ship the mag but regulations don't let them
Bored as hell, should I "weather" my KWA 1911?
take out internals and then bury it in the yard and hope for a rainstorm
[editline]9th July 2011[/editline]
Or throw it at the wall repeatedly
No weathering is stupid. What if you want to sell it someday.
Guns look best in pristine condition. I have over 6 gigs of photos to support my opinion. :3
I've said it before, the only thing, in my opinion, that looks good weathered is an AK.

Weathered AK's look amazing, M4's can look nice weathered if they're done right.

Key word there sweetie
Not always, any early M16(A2 era) weathering looks real good. The only thing is you can only weather the edges.
The early Mk18 CQBRs and Mk12 SPRs were made off leftover lowers or slapped onto existing lowers, so early Mk12s had old M16a1 lowers, and the CQBR was placed onto a host rifle's lower, so both would be quite worn. Also, some later M16s were retrofits of older models.
worn, painted M4's are sexy
Not mine, but my friends. Might buy the m4 that is standing alone on the chair for 800 SEK (84,28€, 75,21£, $120,50).

The m4 on the chair is, something whipped together with different part, he built it from the ground.
The SCAR and de-assembled m4 is Classic Army, I think, not 100% sure.
the m4 on the chair looks awful
it's so weirdly shiny and glossy.
Yeah, the photos ain't great, it was night and the lightning was bad.
But it's kinda... Not great looking, but a bit, but the receiver was green when he bought it.
