If it was an old AKM then maybe, but it's a newer poly '74
on one hand i'm impressed that you managed to fuck up weathering worse than APS on the other hand OH GOD EW OH GOD [editline]16th February 2013[/editline] the only way to do receiver flat weathering is to do it like metal man's lct otherwise stick to edge weathering like my rpk [editline]16th February 2013[/editline] like the only way you're going to get marks like on your weathering naturally is, if, over the course of several years, you slam the side of the gun repeatedly into every single solid object you come across
Yeah I know that my weathering job is pretty crappy, but personally I would much rather have it that a plain black coat of paint.
"At da end of the day 'is about havin' fun, ya' know?"
whoops, accidentally bought a Marui Glock 18c [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/NikolaiSergeyev/181.jpg[/t] [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/NikolaiSergeyev/183.jpg[/t] [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/NikolaiSergeyev/182.jpg[/t] .. oh well
just in case you want to sell it you know hi
The body of my CM040 is made of steel. Tested with magic.
forgot to mention it's the Red Wolf custom Marui 18, so it comes with a metal slide, "a+ hop up", airsoft surgeon hard nozzle and a steel spring guide
whoops, accidentally bought a Marui Glock 18c [t]http://u.cubeupload.com/NikolaiSergeyev/181.jpg[/t] .. oh well
I'll probably end up with one of these some day too. The temptation for double glocks is too much.
For those who find my weathering job absolutely soul-destroying, heres something to help wash it down
i know, i'd love to have a second one of these fuck the RWA custom shoots SO much better than the WE i was looking at getting, it feels so smooth and crisp
I wish I had a grenade that actually worked :c
i know, i'd love to have a second one of these fuck the RWA custom shoots SO much better than the WE i was looking at getting, it feels so smooth and crisp
The WE is great for the person who doesn't have a Glock but wants one. The Marui is great for the person.
Am I the only one here that feels weathering should be done by actually using your gun? A lot of my older guns have been used and abused over the years and it shows. To me it's more personal and makes my guns unique in their own way.
speaking of weathering weather pkm later (probably once i get wood and shit) y/n
I wish I had a grenade that actually worked :c
I wanna get a tornado and attach the metal face to the pin. That little face looks so happy...
The WE is great for the person who doesn't have a Glock but wants one. i hate how you cant really weather a modern M4 without painting it like tan

To me it's more personal and makes my guns unique in their own way.
An airsoft gun I use for a day every two weeks at best isn't going to wear the same way an AK built twenty years ago and used day-in, day-out in a sandstorm in the scorching heat will. For me weathering a gun is about appearance, I'm not really concerned with whether it's authentic.
