Everything but the slide and frame is metal, but the plastic WA used is absolutely amazing. It's beautifully built and the slide and frame are even slightly cold to the touch surprisingly. It's quite hefty and I really can't get over the fact that if I didn't know the slide was plastic, I'd be convinced it's metal. I now see why WA has such a loyal following. After this gun I don't think I could ever justify buying a TM
I agree, it honestly felt like metal. Also, are the grips wood? I didnt notice when I held it.

When I go back to school in a couple months I should ask one of my friends if he still has his WE 1911 so I can buy it off him. He'd probably sell it to me for $50 because he got it for $100 and it's like 4 years old. But it's also been poorly maintained.

it's been extremely poorly maintained though. He used it for 3 years before all of my friends quit airsoft, and in those 3 years he always ran propane through it, never any green gas. He never cleaned it or lubed it either. And even if I could get it for $70-$100 it would still be a good deal because he has 4 mags for it. But one of them leaks so that needs to be fixed.
When i get my metal body kit i'm going to take my ABS plastic one and make it look beat up. Even though it's plastic i know of ways to get a scratched/ dented metal look on it.
Also i fucking love those grips you got on that WA.

Not yet, sorry. Its not on my priorities as i'm not using it until i get mags for it. I will be bringing a clearsoft shit pistol to Merida II for the lulz. Maybe paint it black, or get creative, if you know what i mean.
