It's cool, but i perfer the look of a standard L85, and one with a SUSAT at that.
go back to the 90s then

Eh, I use it because hardly any Brits run SUSATS anymore.

Im okay with an ACOG on an L85, but get rid of that ghastly raised sight rail.

I like the 90s better than 2000s and 10s

That's pretty much the only way to mount it, and its the same way the Brits mount it as well.
It looks really good.

Why would any military use the L-85, if you take it anywhere containing; Moisture, Dirt, or Oxygen the gun will jam.

That's the L85A1. They worked that shit out in the A2.
Also the L85 with RIS is sexy as fuck.
Is there AMT Hardballer airsoft pistol? I want to get a pair.

Sounds like you're probably trying to do this:

:v:
There's really no way to visually distinguish an AMT Hardballer from any old chrome-finished 1911 with some external parts. If for whatever reason you want a true hardballer, there's a long-slide non-blowback Hardballer made by someone in Japan, either TM or WA. It's expensive and probably not what you're looking for. I used the chrome WE 1911 and stuck some Pachmayr grips on. The build quality is decent, and they're pretty cheap. Getting two of them with a set of grips for each would be about $200-$250 depending how hard you look for used items.

Just like Taepodong-2 said H&K totally revamped the rifle and made it incredibly reliable. The current issue L85A2 has superior reliability compared to most US Armalite platforms. It's also a blast to send some rounds down range with!

Finally people who know what they're talking about when it comes to the L85 instead of going "hurp derp it shit coz it needed to be fixed by the germans" *rolls eyes*
Isn't it also true that it's so accurate the British military had to redesign their marksmanship tests?
Pretty badass

Now I really want a L85. Someone at the field had one and I was like, amazed by it.
But if I buy one I need a DPM loadout, as is tradition.

H&K was British owned at the time too.

Yeah, that is true. It's also so short compared to previous British rifles (SMLE, L1a1) that they had to change around the exercises, drills and such that they did.
They also now use the "lmg" version as a dmr
I think it's pretty bad ass looking

They replaced that in the DMR role with some AR-10 variant.
They replaced that in the DMR role with some AR-10 variant.
Well that's stupid of them
I don't know if I want to get a KWA G36 or a WE G36.

They replaced it with the LMT L129A1, which is pretty bad ass.
