wtc I carried my M14 which weighs more then that AK for overnight games without a sling just fine, and I'm not even super strong or anything lol
The weight doesn't bother me. I spend whole days lugging it around. The sling makes it great, though, with the AK-47 sling, I had to attach both ends to the same mount. And no, I haven't got a chance to play yet, but I have a family member in the Hospital, so there are more pressing matters.
If you get a small carbiner clip you can use it to attach one point of the sling to the front sling mount

Go to Asia for vacation bring one back = $$ Profit, it can be done my cousin brought back a WE 1911 from Hong Kong like a week or two ago.
