That's probably a Cyma CM042
My M16 got some decent weathering at HVA, i was thinking of taking some silver paint and a small paint brush and painting the black scratches silver, to make it look super sexy and metal.

I've used that while it's own was climbing a tree to spot. It's a great gun. I don't like the blowback though

Thanks, that helps a lot. I'm gonna try this out as soon as i can, and the good part is i only have to do the reciever, which is nice. Everything else looks nice and weathered like a real M16 would. I might do that for my MP5 as well, but not until i've played a game with it. I like to weather naturally, but if its a different material than the real one i come in with some paint.

Yeah i've pretty much learned that having blowback on an aeg is just one more thing that breaks easily.

The key to drybrushing is to not simply brush all over the piece, brush lightly and only on the raised edges you want weathered. If you just go all over the gun, it won't look very good. Another important thing is to brush perpendicularly to the edge, otherwise it doesn't work right and looks strange.

The VN mag does make it look much better. Also, removed the top rail from the handguard. It's so comfortable to hold now with thumbover.

I got the adjustable 4x one, so it's great. I think I might get a Doctor sight for it though for close quarters.
