or orange plastic
isn't that just orange plastic?
well there's no real bakelite magazines in airsoft as far as i know
Meh, but it doesn't have that original bakelite look and feel to it. Maybe it could be painted nicely and covered with some thick layer of gloss..
All Airsoft Bakelites are like that. How are you just noticing this?
Bakelite =/= orange plastic. Fucking lazy manufacturers.
I know, the real ones look so much nicer.
Airsoft ones don't look nice at all.
that's what ruins wood ak's wit "bakelite" mags in them for me also that's why i prefer synthetic black furniture
I must be the only person who thinks bakelite doesn't look good.
I saw pics of this AK74M with wood furniture and bakelite mags with airsoft internals it was sex
Wouldnt that just be a 74?
My synthetic AK with black mags is TEH S3X.
Now I need more shells... I can see this building into a full on project. Ignore the paint job, it matches my teammates M4 who I bought it from, haven't gotten around to fixing that yet.
god it looks huge on that sr15
thats a vfc 416 loool
uh no it's not that's a URX II rail it has the KAC gloved trigger guard magwell is m4 spec, not like the hk416's extended magwell [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6331
No  lol jk, I'll let you try it. Also, here's a teaser on a upcoming review.
Any Idea of where I could get a LAM like this for my Kwa USP Tactical?
Those LAMs only fit on MK23s
but usp has lam liek dat in modnrn warfra!
Any Idea of where I could get a LAM like this for my Kwa USP Tactical?
Your only bet is to buy a giant laser/flashlight unit that mounts on a RIS. Since you can't get an actual LAM onto a USP it's the closest you'll be able to get.
Get the USP rail adapter then buy a light/laser combo like Biscuit said. MK.23 LAM slides on, USP isn't designed the same. Even if it was, you can't really find the LAM anywhere.
Not quite M4's but if you can squint hard enough they're almost the same:
Are those Marushin? They look nice!
Are those Marushin? They look nice!
Maruzens actually, marushins don't use shells but often work better and have less inner failings, but you're stuck with either 5 6mm bbs or 3 8mm's. My Maruzens on the other hand are shell fed with each shell being between 1-10 pellets depending on what you load each shell with. The top one is semi automatic which is the best ever when it doesn't jam. (Hint: it jams.) And you have to do a lot of work to get it to last. The bottom is pump action and is fantastic but it gets low power. You can custom machine your own hammer spring for higher power or run it on CO2, but for now mine can only fire out 4 at a time effectively. They're also all plastic unlike the marushins, but they're the most fun guns I've ever owned.
They look awesome! I'm sure they would be powerhouses in CQB if you got them functioning reliably.
They certainly are, I play CQB almost weekly, and back when my M1100 was new, it was a semiautomatic deathmachine. While defending an objective I got over 30 kills straight because I could reload while shooting and my teammates actually held the flanks. The shorty M870 is a true godsend though, I can get about 50 shells per gas charge and its never jammed in any way. Once we had a squad of 6 shotgunners on our team, and it was the best game start of all time.
Any time I go to CQB City would probably be with Ender. He has a really nice gas shotgun (not sure what model it is) but with CQB City's new "no gas/spring shotgun only" rule, it's basically left to rot. I personally don't have a sidearm or a shotgun yet... still saving money to buy my KWA USP. My mother helped pay $30 bucks for my T91, and she says she's not going to help financially support my airsoft hobby anymore, so. Not that I really care, it's a good time to separate myself from the parent-reliant chairsofters. So yayyy.... $5/$150! :suicide:

Also, KWA USPs are really excellent, so when you get there its gonna be completely worth it. Oh and before I stop my accidental thread hijack Here's my shotgun holster, which is the best way to carry a shotgun in my book: And the preemptive "No I won't run out of shells picture.":
How much is it per shell?
How much is it per shell?
Packs are 5 shells for $15-$20. However, shells can essentially last forever, and are rather easy to find second hand. When I bought my M870 secondhand, it came with a molle 12 shell holder, 30 some shells, and the gun for $150. While I've only skirmished at one location, which means staff will often find a shell or two that I pick up next time I'm there, I've only lost about 2 shells in over 4 months of skirmishing.
