It might work better with some form of front grip, but I don't know anything about water/flamethrowers so don't give it much thought.

Its fires BBs, not water. But yeah I considered adding a front grip but when messing with it today its much more convenient the way it is now, especially considering how I pretty much hip fire it.

How would it break eye protection?
It shoots just as hard FPS wise as an AEG, it just fires a shitload more BBs. While it of course will require more caution than your standard rifle, I seriously doubt anyone will have a problem with me using it. Hell, we've had people use them before.

Thanks guys, yes, i DO like A2's. Rather, i like M16's before they got rails(ie: A2's and A1's). Iron sights are designed to be effective, so why not use them? I started liking A2's when i first played Delta Force: Black hawk down(One of my favorite games. For some reason, i just like it). At the game tomorrow, i'll try and take some pics with my phone camera, and have someone else take some pics of me.
