i bought a loners patch, because i love STALKER, but never really like or care about any of the factions enough to properly side with any of them. So i just bought it to show 'hey look at me i like stalker'
i was going to get a clear sky, bandit, merc, or ecologists patch but i couldn't decide
plus for all i know clear sky could be assholes and/or retarded because i never listened to any of them long enough to really find out
and the bandit/merc/ecologist patches are just generic interesting patches which is why i liked those

Clear Sky were like the peacefulish scientist types, they're pretty rad, they wanted to destroy the zone before it killed everyone which is good. Too bad they all died lol

Freedom has better snipers, but worse everything else. Duty has like, no snipers, and okay everything else. Overall, Freedom usually wins.
I dont know what you guys are playing, when i leave my stalkers at day care Duty always come out on top, because freedom has shitty fighters and almost no exoskeletons.
i never got heavily into Stalker.

Same. I played the first one for a bit and was like "yeah this is cool i guess, don't see the hype". Then i played CoP and thought "well this is definitely more fun, but there's so much monotony"
It had a nice atmosphere but I didn't follow the story at all.
I haven't played call of pripyat, but from playing SHOC and CS, I think it's a fun game, but none of the factions really seem to be explained well enough for me to make a judgement on any of them.
As far as i know they're all just assholes hell bent on killing eachother, the clear sky dudes and ecologists are trying to do some good, bandits and mercs are even bigger assholes than duty or freedom or anyone else, and monolith jerk off over something inside the power plant and might be mind controlled or something.

no, i picked up the L96 from the War & Peace show about 2 years ago (im only 16 been airsofting since 14th birthday) and they don't bother with the UKRA membership. if your over 18 they'll let you have it :L and bought the M4 myself some time later.

I don't really think it would be called "full upgrades" then, since good inner barrel and hop up are like the most important thing about sniper rifles.
