I got almost too far into Stalker, i mean i had my gripes with it much like any game but the story just brought me in.
then get out of here stalker
then get out of here stalker
But i have some information that might be useful to you!
BTW get in the fucking tinychat fuckers http://tinychat.com/facepunchgearwhores
Probably would want a tightbore though, yeah.
it came stock with a 6.03mm barrel. At my site, the max fps for bolt action rifles is 400. so it only really needs to be accurate up to 60-70 meters, which it is.
i found it to be incredibly average and overhyped tbh
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl was a mediocre game that, on release, was crippled by an enormous number of bugs. As it was patched, the bugs disappeared, and with the right mods (like Stalker Complete) the gameplay can be significantly improved. The story itself is interesting as an example of non-traditional storytelling (if you simply follow objectives, you get a 'fake' ending), but the biggest appeal of the game is the setting and atmosphere. That's why there's so much Stalker-themed airsoft- because it's a fantastic setting with a lot of evocative imagery that's fun to replicate.
Call of Pripyat, on the other hand, is a genuinely good game. It fixes most of the problems with SoC and Clear Sky for a much better gameplay experience.
Floater: If you really want to 'get' SoC, you need to look around. Talk to people ingame, learn about the factions, think your actions through. The game doesn't hold your hand through the plot, nor does it spoonfeed exposition or background. If you just follow waypoints like in a Call of Duty game, you won't get anything out of it, because all your character did was run where he was told. You'll finish the game without really knowing what you did or why- because you never tried to figure it out. It's a different style of game design, one that expects the player to contribute, and it's something I really like the game for.
I have both SoC and CoP, I played both quite a bit but I didn't find them that fun after playing for awhile. I even tried some rehaul mod for CoP but that didn't help much
Stalker was an amazing game on my first run on all 3 games, but after that I didn't feel any motivation to relive it.

Post Your Stalker Opinions V3: Derail Edition.
I need to play it again since i don't remember actually paying any attention last time i played.
Now i'll stop derailing. I'd post pictures on topic but i don't want to spoil a surprise for someone i know who frequents these forums
stalker for me was basically 'you've seen it once, you've seen it all'
Stalker for me was "You've seen it once, now fuck it up with mods and see it again."
I loved stalker, great game experience. Especially CoP with gun mods.

Me:
Hey... this is a great game... the shadows are fucking creepy and I love the lighting (<first time ever seeing soft shadows ingame)... plus it's kinda like role playing too
*install mods after playing for a year*
OH GOD BEST GAME EVER
My favorite one was "STALKER: The man who you thought was just being nice to you at the grocery store"
and with the right mods (like Stalker Complete)
You would get torn apart for saying that in the Stalker megathread :v:
Yeah, seriously, fuck complete. right up its dick.
Well, hey, not everyone likes to radically alter the game with mods. I played SoC through using Complete and the realistic weapons addon and had a much better time than when I used Oblivion Lost or People Soup. It fixes a bunch of shit without completely changing the game, which is why I don't think it's a bad choice for someone who's never played before.
lol my brand new T1 Aimpoint got shot out today at CQB City. Good thing it has a 1 year warranty.
I'm sorry, but I'm laughing so fucking hard right now. Not at your expense, but just at how quickly it was destroyed...

It's funny. Only my Aimpoints have been shot and cracked, yet none of my EOTechs or ACOG have been hit at all.

Shooting out Aimpoints takes way more skill. That's why people aim right for the middle. :D
Seriously though, after reading that, I'm getting mine from Dog Tag.

Isn't it hard to get sights shot out in the first place?
Isn't it hard to get sights shot out in the first place?
Apparently not if someone shot out an Aimpoint...
Well guess it doesn't help that I was spawn camping their spawn point from 40ft away, with at least 50 people spawning there. It was sort of bound to happen.
Yeah I know, spawn camping is bad, but hey their team sucked and didn't push at all, even when given the chance. Me and some others got moved to their team later to motivate them. Nope, camo team still sucked. Guess they like being spawn camped.

Gettin' all KWA up in here.
ATP and Beretta 92 PTP
I'm trying to decide between the M93R, the M9, and the Mark IV PTP with an OD frame, so far the winner is the Mark 4.
I don't like the KWA 1911s. They don't feel good to me and I don't,like how they look.
how is the atp

Speaking of ATP, in my biology class we were talking about nucleic acids. One was called ATP. I kept thinking of little pistols inside of people.
