Elcans are awesome. I love the German style reticule. I remember the real steel one I looked through on a C7A2 having a bigger rear lens than that though.

yeah g&p and some other company (I think AMP) makes this weird pseudo m147/c79 elcan and the only one that looks close to the real thing is the samurai (china brand afaik) brand one
easiest way to tell is the smaller aperture which means its some weird clone sight

No, traded the tm for that 1911 and alot of dosh, bought the g18 with said dosh, then sold the 1911 which is kjw for about money and bought 3 atp mags for the g18 which look even sexier with them in with said money.

Okay, so the first thing to talk about with this gun is the exterior quality. Its surprisingly good, but still not super. Seam lines are apparent, and a few defects are present. However, the handguard seems to be made of a much nicer material than the rest of the gun, or at least has a much nicer finish. It also seems like the seam line on it was somewhat smoothed out. The stock looks kinda shiny and has very visible seam lines. It seems solid though. The receiver is okay, nothing really sticks out. The material used feels nice, not too plasticy, and has a decent heft to it. I dont see it breaking any time soon. The carry handle has the largest exterior flaw so far: its warped. Its not noticeable until you look down the length of it. This is bad if you want to mount anything to the rails, as it will be crooked and throw your zero off. I plan to remedy this by getting the 3x optic + carry handle (probably from notrabies). I did have to hacksaw off the bayonet lug, as it was REALLY getting in the way while sliding on the handguard with a battery in.
One thing to note is that the stock inner barrel is not even half as long as the outer barrel. Since my outer barrel is just a little crooked (not visually noticeable), this resulted in the bbs bouncing around inside or hitting the edge of inner flash hider. This made bbs come out of the barrel literally ~30 degrees off course. Felix and I swapped out the stock barrel for a stock E1 m16 barrel and now its shooting fantastically. The rate of fire is superb, even with the stock 8.4. With a 9.6, it makes quite an impressive bullet hose. ASGI chronoed the gun at 365fps with .2g bbs.

I plan to replace the stock nylon bushings for metal ones, short-stroke the piston a few teeth, shim, replace whatever plastic internals I dont think are going to last, get a c-mag, and get the optic carrying handle. Then Ill have a nice MG set up c:

I do fine with a mac 11 with two mags and then my side arm. It's called not being a trigger happy kid.
He's using it as a LMG though. The WE G36 would not make a practical LMG by any stretch of the imagination. Being a machine gunner is all about spraying. You're laying down suppressing fire
