So you're saying that arguing with SteveUK while he's pulling a toddler trantrum is worth the effort? Because that's what RayvenQ said. I'm beginning to agree. The thing is, SteveUK doesn't even realise that I don't have to justify my actions to him because he thinks he's special when he isn't. I'm doing it because I'm trying to explain where I'm coming from when I moderate. I don't make shit bans or ban people for "personal" reasons. I've been doing this since 2005 so I know a lot more about my job than probably anyone else here.

case in point, the moderators don't need to justify their actions. we've come to this conclusion many times already.
which brings us to the next point, why do we need a feedback thread if the moderators don't need to justify themselves? sure they might make some absolutely rubbish bans, but since they're always in the right it doesn't really matter.
asking for feedback from the common FP user is a totally stupid idea since you're only going to get one of the following:

[*]a post dogging on x moderator (most likely because the person was banned by said moderator and has a biased opinion on them).

i'd also like to point out that i didn't have anything to do with people doing the "unban rambo_6" campaign crusade thing, i made that ironically bad picture in mspaint as well as a few ironic "keep him banned" posts and that's about it. every other moderator/user that has mentioned the ban being shit did so of their own accord. so yeah, just food for thought.. i guess you could say that it is presently one of the most controversial bans.
