i was about to mention this. you ban for a censored nsfw image (which people who haven't seen it before can't tell what it is) but you don't ban for uncensored naked breast avatars which are certainly less sfw than the former.

I like ventilated, because honestly, he doesn't take any shit. If something deserves a ban, then he bans them. He may have had his bad moments, but he is still a great mod.

Almost all the mods are good but theres one rule I do hate: Moderators lock threads and ban the OP for wrong section posting, why can't they just move the post?

If they cared as much as you make them out to, they'd have a defineable set of rules visible for people to see instead of expecting them to magically know the moment they register. But not having a ruleset allows them to pick and choose what to enforce when and to whomever they please, hence hezzy getting away with blantantly asking for warez (a post that will most likely mysteriously disappear in the future along with all references to it)

Why are you defending such an awful decision? Lurking for a while does not tell you what you can and cannot post, seeing other people getting banned won't cover everything since rules are made up on-the-fly by the moderators. A defined ruleset ensures that there aren't any misunderstandings and gives people confidence to post.

True. It's just that if you see what others do and don't do that, your chances to get banned decrease. Having defined rules would be great, but it wouldn't stop people from ignoring them, and crying about how they didn't know.

If I find people posting in the wrong section and they haven't been banned by me or in another section for it before, I'll usually just ban them for a day. A 1 day ban makes them (in most cases) realize they need to check where to post first.
