Your life does not change after you get a few cuts and bruises. Your life changes after you get cancer or a spinal injury.

Mainly because you die from those things
One time my pet rabbit (Buster) was alive, then he wasn't.
Scarred for life bro
I would consider you losing your leg life changing.
You act like this was totally random but you were driving a fucking motorcycle in the dead of night at speed.

I rated you heart even though you don't deserve one, but it sucks to get fucked up and bashed on.
Anyway, that really isn't a life changing experience.
Meet someone that had cancer with death's ETA being 3 days. Then look him in the eyes and say that falling from a bike was a life changing experience to you.
Meeting him was a life changing experience to me. Seeing how he was positive, even though death was upon him, how he was saying goodbye to his family, writing his will.
And you know what, OP? His positive attitude upon certain death made him live - or at least that's what I want to believe. Doctors have no idea whatsoever of how the hell he's still alive. They say his terminal cancer simply shut down.
Now, I ask you: do you really think that your life was in peril? That death was a certainty? Think about it.
Yea OP
Mainly because you die from those things
Not every time. Cancer can be survived and you can survive a spinal injury as long as it isn't too high up. Both have serious consequences though, which is what I meant.
my life changed when i put my penis into a vagina that one time
Me and a friend once rolled a 2 seater Go Kart. I got thrown, and knocked out. Completely uninjured. :ohdear:
Did you think you were playing Tron?
my life changed when i put my penis into a vagina that one time
or when you tried that suicide ?
So OP, is this first time you ever banged up your knee in your life? Maybe your mom will kiss it and make it feel better.
Hey I had surgery and 5 years later I'm still in constant pain and can't do much with my life while on all these pills...Been detoxing so far for a month.
Life sucks dick..get used to it I guess?
Oh no, you got an injury from an accident. Your life is now upsidedown and it'll be better if you tell facepunch about it.
Most threads are just some guy who didn't give a shit about anyone UNTIL they realized that they're going to die some day.
Butterfly Effect, right?
Really fascinating, My nan almost drowned when she was little. wondering what it might be like today.
Survival of the fitness kid. Adapt and survive.
Don't drive a motorcycle like an asshole next time
My life changed in an instant once, One moment I was around my friends house, having a good time, playing shit games.
The next moment my mother was telling me that she was divorcing my dad.
Till yesterday it was all fine. I was riding my friend's motorbike when I fell from it and got a deep wound on my right knee. I spent 4 hours in the hospital and now I can't move my leg, and I feel pain all day. Sitting, walking and sleeping are very hard to do, I have to help myself with my other leg and I risk falling.
All I want to say is that I was very lucky: I got off with just a deep wound on my knee, a broken cellphone and a bit of scare. But it could have been much worse. Just thinking back at what happened, I remember I rolled on the road surface instead of sliding and thats probably what saved me, along with the bike running away from me instead of crushing me. What impresses me the most is that when I fell, I just got up like it was nothing right after, and then noticed the huge blood stain on my leg. When I saw the cut I didn't faint, I was just scared and wanted to sit down.
So what I just want to say is that when these things happen you don't expect them, and would never think about them happening, but when they happen the surface between life and death is gonna get very thin. I don't think I'm ever gonna ride another motorbike after this experience, expecially at a speed and in the dark. I'm gonna get well but I could have as well died. It's impressive how your life can change in a day.
