Avengers 2 will be the last Marvel film I see. I'm not interested in stage 3 at all.
My friends are far more sceptic about the Avengers 2 than I am. Still, the only thing that really lets me down is that there is no possible way they are going to portray Ultron as he should be. Here is a brief summary of the loveable automaton by Tv Tropes:
Shortly after his activation, Ultron gained a malignant intelligence and came to the conclusion that morality was irrelevant and humanity was flawed. To this end, he sought to destroy or replace humanity with androids like himself. Ultron created androids such as The Vision and Jocasta as a surrogate son and bride, but both rejected his monstrosity, resulting in Ultron attempting to kill them on multiple occasions. When an alternate model turned good and embraced Pym as its father, he destroyed it out of disgust. After creating his new son, Victor Mancha, he mind controlled him to make him murder his friends and executed Victor's mother in front of him. In other instances, Ultron would take over a country and massacre the population, using the corpses to form a model of his face large enough to see from space. While typically a threat limited to earth, Ultron's intelligence was absorbed by the Phalanx in Annihilation: Conquest, which he quickly takes over before ruthlessly conquering and assimilating the Kree Empire, destroying and torturing all those who would resist. He later directs his Phalanx army at earth, vowing to destroy it solely to spite his "father", Hank Pym. A fully self aware being, he believes himself to be above humanity while succumbing to the worst of human emotion, ego and cruelty.
Can you see a fraction of that acually being carefully portrayed in a Marvel/Disney movie? I can't Another thing that worries me, again, is the Mary Sueness of far too many S.H.I.E.L.D characters, but I'm waiting to call that just yet (the worst of the lot, again, is Black Widow: while Hawk and Fury ate their just dose of pain and adversities in the previous movies, Natasha didn't. She never, EVER lose a fight or a gambit she pulls off on a villain, and when she doesn't she achieves a stalemate. Against everything and everyone. She never loses anything valuable to her nor she suffers anything: at the end of Winter Soldier she tells the commission to "fuck off you still need me sucka" and walks away scot free, while Fury must go into hiding. The only troublesome aspect of her character, her necessity to "clean the slate" is never elaborated upon and sounds like just a cheap narrative trick to make her more likeable to the audience. For me, she reached the point where she's plain unlikeable)

Look I'm clearly not a comic book guy and I'm slowly losing interest as more characters are introduced. Don't confuse my lack of interest with me saying the movies are going to be bad.
It might be clearer in the whole thing but judging by the trailer (Which I shouldn't be judging) Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver look a bit of stupid. Like Ultron is trying to bring an extinction to the human race. Aren't the twins like two human beings?

I'm sure if you don't know the characters, you may end up liking them after a while.

His ego-maniacal superiority complex and his genocidal tendencies. His creation of Vision and his daddy issues with Stark (instead of Pym) also seem to be at play. They won't show shit like him build a corpse monument or drawing him out further by sending him into space, if they don't need to; essentially asking themselves "What is the core of the character? What makes [Ultron], [Ultron]". There are other tools, symbols, and techniques that films can utilize and that comics can utilize that don't always resonate the same way if translated.
I must say that Iron Man's new armour in the trailer looks very nice

I'm hoping Marvel does the same thing with Dr. Strange, Black Panther, etc. that they did with Iron Man, Cappy, and Thor, because I know I didn't really care about most of the people the Avengers movies have been made up of so far until the movie versions. If they can jazz up Black Panther, anything is possible. And I'll be glad to see new stories with new characters instead of trying to run Iron Man into the ground.
Black Panther doesn't need jazzing up dammit, he's a cool dude who broke the Red Skulls jaw and beat the Fantastic Four by the pushing Invisible Woman into a pool of water, what a cool dude.

I mean Dr. Strange is a cool dude with magic and shit and Panther is like the black Batman. What worries me the most is Ant-Man. He's goofy
Why is Ant-Man considered part of Phase 2, anyway? I thought all phases were supposed to end with an Avengers movie, except maybe Phase 3 because Infinity War is going to have two parts.
wasn't ant-man supposed to have been out by now, or the events of it take place before aou?
So according to William Shatner Twitter, he is getting involved in Agent Carter some how.
I think what he meant is that he's trying to get items from the show for his charity auction
For those in the UK, and close to one of the applicable venues, Vue is doing a 22-hour back-to-back marathon of all Marvel films, starting with Iron Man, ending with Age of Ultron. I'd never do it, but I'm sure there's some people out there who would actually consider it. http://www.myvue.com/latest-movies/info/film/avengers-ultimate-marathon

Shame the Vue in Norwich isn't running it...and that I have too much project work to be doing to feel good about taking a whole day and a half off to watch that.

Look up anything, ANYTHING about the Inhumans and you'll know thats not true at all.

The recent trailer, silly
Makes sense for his armor to be even sleeker and high-tech looking in this movie, considering Ultron and Vision. [editline]9th March 2015[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/TQEvvTN.png?1[/t] Neat. [sp]Jarvis' stocking is in the Visions color scheme[/sp]

Should they have a newspaper article or, if they cast in time, an extra button scene showing Peter Parker or Spiderman in AoU before he's fleshed out in Civil War?

I feel that Marvel should do shout outs like this to superheroes that won't ever get a movie but are well known in comic circles.
