Daredevil release in 30 minutes. So hyped. Still have a day of work first but after that I'm going to binge it so hard.

Early Buzz from Avengers 2. Some choice quotes:
Avengers: Age Of Ultron is bigger, more complex, darker, more action packed than the first film, but ultimately not as much fun.

By all means @Marvel is still firing on all cylinders - was fun to geek out to Avengers: Age of Ultron - a highly entertaining follow-up!

AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON is loaded with insane action, great character moments, and funny dialogue. Joss did the impossible again. Important to note AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON is a completely different movie than the first one. And that's why it works.

Yep, it was awesome. Sensory overload.

And out of all the AGE OF ULTRON chaos, somehow Hawkeye gets the best role in the movie. AND the best line of the movie, maybe the series.

Avengers 2 is both an amazing sequel and a fantastic setup for the rest of the MCU. So nerdy in the best possible way. Also, the usual Avengers supporting players stand out this time. Black Widow kicks ass and Hawkeye has the best lines.

Avengers 2 is way more fun and great than the trailers let on.
And ABC is working on a spinoff from SHIELD.
How can there be 2 mid-credits scenes, if there's only one "middle"? Or by "mid-credits" you mean a certain style of a scene? Like mid-credits one gives info about an upcoming movie, and the end-credits one is just a gag (think shawarma scene). In any case, Thor 2 had [sp]one with The Colletor and the other one where Thor returns to Portman[/sp] Winter Soldier had [sp]one with Bucky visiting the museum, and one with the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver[/sp] Guardians had [sp]one with Groot dancing and one with Howard the Duck[/sp]
I had though both were in the middle, just one near the beginning, and one more in the midst. But they're not, and I'm dumb. I'm on a roll around here lately. So what do we think the SHIELD spin off is going to be? [sp]'real' SHIELD becomes Agents of SWORD/HAMMER[/sp]or[sp]INHUMANS: THE SERIES[/SP]
I'm not quite sold yet on Charlie Cox's voice for Matt Murdock. He becomes almost inaudible when he's talking at a lower volume.

Outside of Ant-Man he is my favorite Avenger.
Two episodes in and I love Daredevil, the fight scenes are amazing.
And out of all the AGE OF ULTRON chaos, somehow Hawkeye gets the best role in the movie. AND the best line of the movie, maybe the series.
Perhaps, "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!"? Though after writing that it sounded better in my head. Also the spin off, I hope it doesn't have to do with any of our core characters, unless they are turning Ward into the Punisher or Taskmaster and he gets his own show since he's done with Skye. That would be pretty good to watch. He was the only cast member to retweet the news about there being a spin off. (crazy theory based on nothing).
Holy shit First ep was amazing
Yeah, I love how it doesn't take a couple punches to knock out the enemy. and I particularly love the grittiness of the show. It's better than Agents of SHIELD.
Daredevil is succeeding where Agents of SHIELD fails because Daredevil manages to be interesting.
I like the opening title. Kinda cool that it's the same team who did Game of Thrones' as well
daredevil episode 2 spoilers [sp]that final fight scene, god damn - the way the bad guys actually needed to have the shit kicked out of them multiple times throughout rather than how someone like captain america would just bonk 'em on the head and knock them out instantly, the way that the fight scene took place in the cramped corridor and you could SEE when one of the bad guys had a gun but couldn't get a shot off because his mates were in the way instead of "oh im gonna shoot and miss a bunch of times", and of course the way that they did it all in one shot / made it look like one shot (there was probably a cut when the door closed halfway through, and maaaybe one towards the end when he falls back into that room on the right and then walks back out after a couple of seconds). but yeah, SO SO GOOD. got massive oldboy vibes from that whole thing[/sp] [sp]oh and the story is good too so that's a plus[/sp]
fuck i love long takes like that reminded me of oldboy although if the oldboy fight is a side-scroll beat 'em up, then daredevil was definitely an on-rails shooter.
The action is much better than I expected. I would say my main issue is the ridiculous sound effects. Especially the punching in episode one. The same sound played over and over again. Maybe it's just too loud. Again, the fights are very well choreographed, especially for a TV show.
Daredevil looks even more ridiculous with that red suit
Honestly DD doesn't need a costume, at least in the TV show. The one he has in the pilot works fine enough.
Honestly DD doesn't need a costume, at least in the TV show. The one he has in the pilot works fine enough.
I cannot agree more. The the black hood is cooler then the costume. That said, the costume isn't terrible, but it feels like it goes against the style of the show to have a costume at all. EDIT: Also, 6 episodes in and loving the show. The story and characters are engaging enough, but the fight choreography is really awesome. There's some pretty amazing sequences in this series.
Is it possible for DD to be a part of Civil War?
i think they started daredevil before they started writing civil war, so it is plausible. plus daredevil takes place post-avengers and idk if it's just me but [sp]i'm getting hydra vibes from the russian cop[/sp]
The red costume is great. If Captain America gets to wear red white and blue while fighting in WWII and have it make sense, Daredevil can wear crimson while beating up junkies and thugs. Besides, they explain it pretty well. I haven't finished the series yet (currently on episode 10), but he mentioned [sp]"oh, armor would only slow me down" and the other person was like "bullet would slow you down more"[/sp], and then [sp]he gets sliced and diced by that ninja guy like he's made of tissue paper[/sp]. Daredevil's gotta intimidate people. You wear red, they can't see you bleed.
Daredevil's gotta intimidate people. You wear red, they can't see you bleed.
That's the same reason Deadpool gives for his costume. That and his skin anyway.
Daredevil's quality was quite surprising to me and I've been amazed by another Netflix original yet again. I like the fact that it doesn't care about gore and being dark, that's liberating. I like the attitude the first episode has set for the characters and most of all I like how its not Agents of Shield. I'd expect a few of might like A.o.S, so I won't even touch on why I hated it, but it makes me giddy that I've got 12 more episodes of this.
One of the henchmen should point out that red doesn't work well for him at night.
I thought that dark colors worked better for camouflage in low light conditions.
I've been hearing in Avengers 2 (don't click this if you don't want to be spoiled) that [sp] Jarvis sacrifices himself in order to power up or rebirth as Vision [/sp]

[sp]The voice actor for Jarvis is the actor for the Vision, it's almost an open secret that doesn't need spoilers.[/sp]

Really digging Daredevil, wasn't expecting the quality to be this good - especially since Agents of SHIELD is so cheesy. Then again, Netflix.
