Anyone knows who is the black girl from the trailer 2? I don't remember seeing her in the movie.
She was cut from the movie I believe
During the movie I was thinking how much Ultron reminded me of Megatron from the transformers movies. I liked the references to the 2012 Avengers film. [sp]I fucking knew Fury was hiding the old Helicarrier. So was Thanos controlling Ultron the entire time? I thought the part where Hulk buster was hammering Hulks face was really really funny. Did Hulkbuster really knock Hulk out?[/sp]

Also yeah I guess the Hulkbuster knocked him out.[/sp]
I liked the Avengers 2. [sp]Only thing I didn't like was the death of QS.[/sp]
But people were saying that [sp]no one really died in the Avengers 1 and Captain America 2 [/sp]
Just got to the part in Daredevil where [sp]Karen shoots Wesley.[/sp] Holy fuck. This show is so good.
Just got to the part in Daredevil where [sp]Karen shoots Wesley.[/sp] Holy fuck. This show is so good.
I think out of the whole season, that part surprised me the most.
I'm sort of bummed that that happened. [sp]Wesley[/sp] was such a cool character.
I think out of the whole season, that part surprised me the most.
I'd say it's a tie between that and [sp]Fisk killing Ben.[/sp] It seemed to be inevitable when he was in the apartment, but it was still surprising.
There we go, finished the series up. That was real amazing. I think Daredevil is possibly now my favourite super hero.
AoU Spoilers [sp]So did they cut an entire scene where we see Ultron upgrading from bare chassis to the full body? Because it just sort of... happens, you see no build or anything really.[/sp]
Probably going to see this at the cinemas... Can anyone tell me, what is the soundtrack like? Silvestri's score MADE the first movie for me, he's an incredible composer. When I heard they dropped him for Age of Ultron I was quantum-bummed... a good score can make or break a film, personally.
Not seen the movie, was a fan of silvestri's score in the first, but it's Brian Tyler doing the score for AoU, he did Iron man 3 and the most recent Thor, so I'd imagine stuff from those will probably be present which is good imo because the iron man 3 score was perfect.
that score was the best thing about im3
Saw it now too. I would give it a [sp]8/10[/sp] I REALLY wanted to like it. It was more serious but there were still some good laughs here and there but I was just disappointed with some stuff: About Ultron [sp]Didn't like how he was not as serious as shown in the trailers. Some of the funniest scenes in the movie involve him. But you can see it as a plus, because it made him look more human and less machine[/sp] About the score [sp]Dissapointing. I really like Brian Tylers work, but only like 2-3 songs really stand out, at least the Avengers theme was back in some form[/sp] About the action scenes [sp]some were absolutely incredible, others were too quickly edited. There are many awesome moments involving the fights, but sadly not satisfying enough[/sp] About Hulk [sp]Not enough. He has his shining moments. For me he also lacked a transforming scene. [/sp] A kinda messy movie, with some very good stuff in it. A must watch for Marvel fans of course but ultimately it's less fun than The Avengers was. You still get an entertaining movie but I felt a little bit underwhelming after I watched it and I found new happiness and joy to know that the Russo brothers are directing the next two Avengers movies.
[sp]The last act of the movie where they rescued all the civilians was really boring I hoped that they could evacuate them first without being interrupted then have a big massive fight without worry. Some fight scenes were kinda janky And we didn't really see Thor use his powers Same with Vision, I hoped we would see more fighting I can't wait for the russo brothers, they did a great job with Cap 2[/sp]
I find Brian Tyler to be an incredibly vague, underwhelming composer unfortunately, and personally I found IM3's score to be way too excited and childish for the scenes it was playing in... I mean to each their own, but I'm a huge fan of film and tv scores and Tyler has consistently been underwhelming for me. Eagle Eye, Thor 2, F&F Movies, Rambo etc etc... all very weak scores in my opinion, his music seems to lack any solid focus. If you listen to scores from guys like John Powell or Alan Silvestri, they have an incredible talent for creating these memorable, specific hero scores and sad / evil themes, they really hit you and stay with you for a long time after. I don't get that with Brian sadly. Ranting? yes. Will hold judgement until I watch the damn movie haha
Saw it, my verdict: [sp]There are some REALLY serious trouble with pacing and general writing in this one. You can feel how certain scenes exist only to lead to next scenes without any context or efort - fucking sauna in rocks that Thor swims in , what was it? Just a lead up to frankenstein bolt on Vision. Ultron uploading himself in new body only out of one specific body even though it was established he pretty much in every machine he connected to? Why just not leave a drone feeding kilobytes to it rather then attach detach yourself every 5 minutes? Entire Nexus location exist only to give excuse to back up of jarvis, rather then reintroduce him as rebelling part of Ultron, wich ofcourse can't happen because 2 minutes in existance Ultron already capable of rage issues toward rival programs. Fear nightmare portions - sure, lets get Black Widow a five minute backstory, Thor will go with a minute teaser for Thor 3, and captain America is just... being captain america? What was his suffering and fear\s incarnate again? Shitty prom party? He's seemed pretty untouched in aftermath, merely sad by reminder of how he spent 70 years at ice, and just tells Tony some bullshit about "having demons he did not show yet". Nah Cap, ya got as many demons as times you got laid. Oh and we never see what is Hulk is being scared of, apparenlty everything that scares him just pisses him off. Twins, twins were... ok? Everyone is sad about QS death but really, he was not much of addition to team. He's defiantly "slower" and more human than Xmen QS, he get exhaused faster, and apparently runs slower then most bullets fly, since he got shot by friendly fire even before his demice. Scarlet witch is nice addition to team, and her character is durable enough. GG did not evne knew she was Olsen twin until credits hit me. Also, why a fucking Vibradium dildo is capable to hold entire rock due to it magnetic field and yet nothing else is affected by it? Hell, even when Iron man aproaches it, neither his tech or suit is getting jazzed by such immense magnetic field. Also - thin cap's shield was hit by thor's hammer, shot by lazer of Iron man and other crap, yet vibranium on Ultron cracks fucking fast after being blazed by three heroes. That is some serious construction failure. Dialogues in this movie are a bit out of place aswell. Vision's introduction felt really awkward and they could've had cut to him just handling Thor's hammer and going "we have no time, but i am fucking worthy" cause hammer joke was imprinted in audience's brain enough to associate Vision with trust the very moment he simply takes nokia in his hands. No additional confirmation needed. Black widow talking with Bruce about being sterile was supposed to be emotional but when you try to compare her condition to Bruce's hulk, it's kinda laughable. Ya ain't only women who can't have kids Natasha, it's bad but bruce's issues certainly tops ya, soo why ya bring it up, to ask for misery? Shield is back, well, more like , rebranded, cause now they work with avengers? Or are they avengers of shield now? What was point of winter soldier's ending again? Soo we can see Nick Fury in his bum outfit for 10 more minutes? And why the emotional "we're in this on our own speech" if you hiding a damn shield division in your pocket? You jsut gotta wait for a moment when we see Iron man and Cap being on extreme opposites regarding human lives, perfect set up for their conflict in future movie, and then save the day with evac. Party pooper. Also what happened with backlash for Hulk's wreckage? I thought world now hates Avengers? Is it? Oh it's just for civil war aswell, right, one minute is enough then. And why they left hydra based untouched afterwards even if they are pretty much succesfully wraped them up? Why no security or recon regarding robots that tony saw? Soo yeah, it's a joy ride, but 15 minutes later ya start asking yourself questions that make ya uncomfortable. something that did not happen after first Avengers. [/sp]
was vision cgi? sometimes it looked like it was, sometimes it looked like it was make up
Apparently Joss Whedon still considers Coulson dead in the Avengers timeline. Who died and made him in charge of the MCU canon?
Apparently Joss Whedon still considers Coulson dead in the Avengers timeline. Who died and made him in charge of the MCU canon?
That's funny because Joss Whedon wrote the pilot where Coulson was revived. [editline]25th April 2015[/editline]
was vision cgi? sometimes it looked like it was, sometimes it looked like it was make up
Most of the times it was Paul Bettany in make-up.
Just got in, mixed feelings. When it was good, it was oh so good and when it wasn't it sorta ruined everything. [sp]The pacing was really messy. A lot of stuff just seemed to set up future stuff without any meaning. Oh, that South African city got messed up? Look, angry people. When Civil War rolls around it'll be Angry people for a minute and then onto another issue.[/sp] [sp]Other things, like Thors nightmares are just bait for his own Movie. And Thor didn't even do anything this movie. Ultron was cool, but I felt that some of his jokes were really...unecessary. I get that Tony programmed him, and made him like that in some regards but most of the time it felt very forced. "Look guys, he's not just a ROBOT. He's a ROBOT with HUMAN flaws". I also refuse to accept that the final Ultron we saw was in fact the final one, he always backs himself up to a Microwave or Toaster or something on the other side of the world to return. Why would he exclusively base himself in east-europistan when he planned to survive dropping a meteor (made of East Europistan) powered by a Vibranium Dildo? Also, Wakanda tease and then cutting to a shipyard. Booo. And Avengers Assemble, Whedon you bitch. Romance felt forced in some places, but workable in others. I think Banner and Romanov have a good chemistry, but the script they're working with was pretty poorly suited. And Vision, the fuck was that? I love Vision in the comics, but in this he's the nail in the coffin in a pretty interesting analogy wherein Stark and Ultron are effectively tied to saving the world through good will and poor execution. This could've made for a very interesting finale, but Thor shows up after having a bath in a cave and slaps Vision with Mjolnir and suddenly the issue is resolved, we now have the true Ultron. Go home guys, I fixed it! And knocking out the Hulk? The scene could have ended perfectly with Hulk witnessing the carnage he'd caused, but instead they opt for a jumpcut to a punch in the head. QS death was bollocks as well, a cheap fourth wall breaking joke to play upon the audiences expectations.[/sp] That said, props to the Writers for making an interesting endgame. [sp] I was afraid after revealing "Ultron has uploaded himself to the Internet" that it'd become "He's using our own stuff against us!" But instead there was a giant Vibranium Dildo piledriving an artificial meteor into Eastern Europe. Cool.[/sp]
Apparently Joss Whedon still considers Coulson dead in the Avengers timeline. Who died and made him in charge of the MCU canon?
Very few people outside of whats left of SHIELD know that Coulson is alive.

Neat easter egg on the far left in AoU http://i.imgur.com/j9fiN37.png It'll be weird if the X-Men series decide to introduce Danger. Two female robots are the same time? Hoho
[sp]Jocasta, Ultron's wife.[/sp]
[sp]Ah, I thought it said Jocasta, but the only Jocasta I know was from Star wars (she is the Jedi Librarian) so I wasn't sure. I don't know much about marvel outside the movies and TV shows.[/sp]
[sp]Ya stole "Vibranium Dildo" from me, didn't you? I should've copyrighted dat shit[/sp]
I just scrolled up now to read it, great minds think alike?
