With the exception of Black Widow in Winter Soldier, no Avenger has played more than a quick cameo in another's movie. It's Avengers 2.5

I'd imagine they'll fight briefly over something (an infinity stone) and then join forces. That will probably be Inifinity War Part 1

I'd imagine Part 1 would be the avengers getting their asses handed to by Thanos with the GOTG showing up at the end and Part 2 is them teaming up to take down Thanos
Depends on how Civil War ends imo.
I feel like the avengers will be split into separate groups and they all try to individually defeat Thanos, however that doesn't work out. It might even open up with GotG fighting thanos first because he tries to retrieve the gem they had. Then they follow Thanos to Earth and see the avengers fighting, but still as separate groups.

A joke here and there are okay, but literally every scene in the movie had some small quip that just ruined any kind of serious tone, even in the final battle.

The show takes place after the events of The Avengers, in that there is a LOT of reconstruction going on around NYC after the Chitauri invasion.

So is Kinberg who says the next is the last in the First Class trilogy.
The general theory is that X-men is going to reboot and relaunch as a TV series. If that is with Fox or Marvel is down to conspiracy theorists.

The X-Men became popular thanks to its thriving cast. It was like a superhero soap opera. It needs to have more time to exist, to not rely on certain actors like Jackman.
