More Spidey rumors coming in
According to sources, six teenage boys tested for the highly sought-after role in Captain America: Civil War and follow-up films, one of the biggest "gets" for a young actor in the film business.
Tom Holland, who appeared as one of Naomi Watts' sons in the acclaimed tsunami drama The Impossible, and Asa Butterfield, the child star from Hugo and Ender's Game, were the best known of the contenders. The other four hopefuls included: Judah Lewis (a relative newbie who will be seen in the Jean Marc-Vallee's fall drama Demolition), Matthew Lintz (who will be seen with Adam Sandler in this summer's Pixels), Charlie Plummer (who had a recurring gig on Boardwalk Empire), and Charlie Rowe (a British actor who appeared on Fox's short-lived Red Band Society).
From those listed there I gotta say Rowe seems pretty good, he'd be second on my list after O'Brien, if we're going purely on accurate looks. He also doesn't look as young as any of the other contenders.

While it might piss off some of the traditionalists, I am fully ok with this gender swap.

That last still is just funny. I can only imagine him saying 'maybe I should've taken that left turn at Albuquerque'.
http://www.latino-review.com/news/exclusive-daredevil-may-have-found-its-bullseye
"Our spies spotted him meeting with Marvel personnel earlier this week while taking a break from the press tour for Spy. Aside from Bullseye, other villainous characters who are said to appear in Daredevil's highly-anticipated second season include Mr Fear, Mysterio (one of Spider-Man's iconic rogues), and Elektra - Daredevil's eventual love interest."
They're really pulling out all the stops for this, and it's cool, but I also kind of worry that they might be eroding the neo-noir tone of season 1 by including so many comic characters.
Can we have someone who can do for Colin Farrell's Bullseye what D'Onofrio did for MCD's Kingpin?

Season 1 had a shit-load of comic characters just re-packaged for the neo noir world it lived in.
The Ant-Man suit looks so fucking good.

Swear to god if he doesnt look like this im gonna flip.

Also Jason Statham as Bullseye would be amazing.
That's a lot of characters for a season.

Season 1 had Kingpin, Owl, [sp]a Hand ninja[/sp], [sp]Gladiator[/sp] and possibly [sp]Crane Mother.[/sp]
Season 1 had Kingpin, Owl, [sp]a Hand ninja[/sp], [sp]Gladiator[/sp] and possibly [sp]Crane Mother.[/sp]
That wasn't really Owl though
That wasn't really Owl though
Yeah, and?
All thats been said is those 4 in the post i quoted earlier might be in the second season. Not how they'll be implemented.
Even if it "wasnt really Owl" it was still Owl. It was just how they decided to implement him.
Hell, [sp]Bullseye might've already made a cameo[/sp]
[editline]6th June 2015[/editline]
Thats also not including the characters they made up for the show (the russians) or Wesley.
So saying those 4 characters, in addition to [sp]The Hand[/sp], is a bit much for a season is a little odd.
I just hope Sticks doesn't come back. I didn't like him at all.
I noticed in Ironman 3 and Avenger 2 that Stark seems to be really afraid of aliens. He has PTSD in Ironman 3 and in [sp] Avengers 2 he meanions "up there" being the end game and when Scarlet Witch looks at his mind they see Chitauri and it seems to be why he wanted to make Ultron[/sp]. Is it because as smart as he is, there are beings beyond him or is he just traumatised by the Chitauri?
I think it's the fact that he almost was killed in Avengers 1
[editline]6th June 2015[/editline]
And his body lost in space for perhaps eternity.
That's something to mess with a man's mind, even a genius's.
I don't read comics much these days, but as I understand it, marvel comics are divided into two main categories: cosmic marvel, and new york marvel.
So my question is, which one does the first avengers movie fall in to?

Uhhhhh, yes? MCU in general is not as NYC centered as the comic universe is (it's more focused on the United States as a whole), or rather was (considering that the comic universe no longer exists, just a mishmash of various Earths called Battleworld).
And the comic universe is much less NYC centered than it once was. Now it's more or less evenly divided into: street level, where heroes usually stay in one city and work from there; the multinational/country level where heroes usually work in one country but often deal with stuff outside of it, or just straight up travel around the world doing heroics; and the cosmic/mystic level which deals with other dimmensions and/or space.

Obviously he needs to join the Guardians of the Galaxy for a while, get him some total immersion therapy.

uh what
uh what
He's talking about the comics.
Secret Wars.
Which, uh, heavily centers around New York, but still, the old universe no longer exists.
oh yeah, thought he meant the MCU's United States no longer exists
Yeah, same here at first.
oh yeah, thought he meant the MCU's United States no longer exists
[sp]Earth was destroyed along with all nations, all that exists right now during Secret Wars is Battleworld. Also the fact that Doom made himself a pseudo-god and fogged up everyone's memory kind of makes previous nations non-existent at the moment[/sp].

I get the feeling that the Antman suit designer just finished watching Kabuto when he was making the designs for Antman and Yellowjacket. God the suits in Antman are so good.

I know, relax.

I just thought the guy said the United States didn't exist in the MCU.

No no, I mean that actually wasn't him. [sp]He has a son, also named Leland Owlsley who is mentioned once or twice. That's Owl, probably.[/sp]
