Spoke to somebody who saw Ant Man. They are embargo'd from going into too much detail but they told me: It's really fun. It's not the best MCU movie ever like Guardians of Cap2 but it's certainly one of the better ones. Two post credits scenes. The second one (after the full credits) is incredible and hypes you up for Civil War in a big way
One of those reviews you linked says to skip the second post credit scene because spoilers? How is it a spoiler once it's in the film? Did they standup and walk out of Empire Strikes Back when Vader revealed he was Luke's father because it's given away major plot details for future films?

3 up till First Class were absolute rubbish, 1 and 2 were just okay in my books. Nothing beyond "They're alright" to a backdrop of Daredevil and Elektra tier rubbish.

I was genuinely thinking this was gonna be the Cars of the MCU.
Instead it seems like it'll be the Ratatouille of the MCU- a fairly good movie that people bring down because of one thing they dislike (the fact the main character is a rat in the kitchen, and the fact "not muh Wright").
