Did anyone else notice [sp] Hank Pym's SLA 3D printer? [/sp]
I liked the Rouge cut more than the original. It added more to the movie i think.
I don't get why they decided to cut the scenes in the first place. It doesn't make the movie much longer and it's not as confusing as Singer said it would be. It even explains how the sentinels found the mutant's hideout in the future scene.
How do you fuck up this badly?
Please let this movie bomb, please let this movie bomb!
From what I can tell, I think you're close to the finale of Season 2. I'd say pick up where you left off on episode 17/18? and then go from there.
I'm nowhere near that, sorry. The last episode I watched was apparently episode 9 of season 1, "Repairs". Does this change anything? I hear that the show gets a hell of a let better in season 2, is this true?

There is when an artist wants to give his personal spin on a popular fictional character and then there is this
God dammit. If this was anyone but Dr Doom it could be said "Oh, that's a cool take on ****" but for fucks sake. Why does every film-maker think "Hey, this guy was born a Gypsy and his Mum's a witch, he fucks with his friends attempts at teleportation and it blows up in his face and scars him" is too dumb/campy for Audiences? But they're more than happy to stick to "Oh some guy, the girl he fancies, her brother and his best mate all fly a rocket into space and get zapped by a cosmic storm" or "There's this kid whose balls haven't dropped yet, and some girl, her brother and his best mate all travel into a parallel dimension and come back all super-powered". You can't pick and choose, even Ultimate Doom was a better version than this films one, and this is the Ultimate FF movie for fucks sake. Victor Van Damme (as he is in Ultimate) gets zapped into the N-zone alongside the Fantastic Four and comes back all weird and metal like, he flees and pretty much becomes king of the Gypsies in Amsterdam or something. He's not a fucking computer hacker called D00M. Fucking hell.
I mean, after this, and the repeated failures of the Fantastic Four film franchise [sp]and the non existent ad campaign[/sp], im sure they'll sell it back for a price. MS isnt getting X-Men for a long, long time though.
The ad campaign isn't non-existent. It's just really fucking awful. Like I said, everyone looks BORED out of their fucking minds on every poster. Compare: [img_thumb]http://screencrush.com/files/2015/03/avengers-2-poster.jpg[/img_thumb][img_thumb]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20150420220138/marveldatabase/images/2/2a/Fantastic_Four_(2015_film)_poster_002.jpg[/img_thumb] Not only do the characters in the Avengers 2 poster have some emotion going on, you can see they're ready to fight and that shit is going down and that the threat this time is more than they expected. This is a good poster, because it gives you what you want (the Avengers) and tells you 'oh, oh, there's more, come inside and find out what's making those guys crap their pants." Look at the FF poster. Not only does everyone look awkward and oddly-positioned-- even the fucking CGI monster-- but they all have the same look on their faces which borders on utter boredom. Look at Miles Teller. Is that the look of someone who's about to save the world or stop a major threat like Doom? No, that's the face of your attendant at fucking McDonald's! If it turns out to be super good, I'll watch it on a Saturday or whatever. But if it turns out to be shit, I'll watch it on the first day as early as possible, on an empty theater, so I can yell at the screen whenever I want.
On a lighter note, since its not happening, apparently Sony was going fucking NUTS before the whole ASM thing crashed and fucking burned. Im talking spin offs. A lot. -ASM: Kraven, 2016 (???) -Spider-Gwen/Sable team up, 2017 (???) -ASM: Black Cat, 2017 Spider-Man 2099, 2017 -ASM: Venom, 2018 -ASM: Jackal, 2019 (???) -Carnage, 2019 -Spider-Man 2099 2, 2020 Carnage would've been the Avengers movie for them (???) where they all meet up (???) and been hard PG-13. And then the second Spider-Man 2099 film would of been where he fucking destroys Mac Gargan because he's a dumb jobber. Thank you, sane, japanese side of Sony, for making sure this didnt happen.
Amazing Spider-Man 3 would have been super nuts. According to Dennis Leary (Gwen's dad), it would have Peter finding a serum that brings the dead back to life, and he'd use it to bring Gwen and Captain Stacy back. I'm guessing it would have been the set up to Carnage, similar to Ultimate, but then what would the plot of 3 be, otherwise it would just be a 2-hour advert for Carnage.
So after Ant Man's awesomeness I walked out of the cinema and thought 'hey have there been any decent and recent Marvel games?' So, um... have there been any decent and recent Marvel games? With all the amazing comic book movies you'd think they'd take a crack at the games market too right?
Awful ideas, awful universe. I'm glad it's gone now

After watch Ant-Man, I was curious about the species featured in the movie

[editline]18th July 2015[/editline] Thats not including the Sinister Six movie or the original sequels planned. Speaking of, Sinister Six is apparently not cancelled, wondering if they're discussing it with Marvel. [sp]Please turn it into Thunderbolts starring the Sinister Six.[/sp]
I don't know about you guys but I would've totally been on board with a Black Cat movie.

I had to look it up, but you're about to find out how Coulson was really brought back. This is where it starts to get good. Then episode 16 happens and shit gets crazy good.
Just watched Antman. I am extremely happy [sp]they referenced Adventures through inner space (the Disneyland Ride) when he was entering the sub-atomic demension by having snowflakes appear. Also, I loved that Louise whistled It's a Small World.[/sp]
So they finally made a good Ant-Man trailer. Just watch it even if you've seen the film or scared of spoilers
so that's what the pym particles do to you after extended use
I figured out why I liked Ant-Man so much: there's a solid hour, maybe more, with no big action setpiece. That's almost unheard of in the current Hollywood blockbuster scenario. By the one hour mark Avengers 2 had two, maybe three big battles.
is there a stan lee cameo in ant-man?
is there a stan lee cameo in ant-man?
[sp]He is the bartender right before the credits.[/sp]
[sp]For reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bNzAgJMYVE[/sp]
I'm so glad he did this again.
is there a stan lee cameo in ant-man?
As if there wouldn't be!
yes [sp]and its really self contained and didnt detract from the movie, hes just there for a second maybe less[/sp]
Honestly, I wish his cameos would be more like this. Just really quick, so that it doesn't distract too much from the movie.
I know this is going back a few months, but are we sure [sp] Thanos had something to do with Ultron wanting to destroy humanity, I thought it was more to Stark's paranoia about not being able to save the avengers and the scene with Thanos was referring to him having to retrieve the stone.[/sp] Also, in the comics is there a New Avengers or a Space Avengers or something like that which occurs later on?

The post-credits scene was about retrieving the stones.[/sp]
Just got back from Ant-Man. Real nice change from the the sequels and whatnot; a good addition to the rest of the franchise. I loved the set pieces [sp]The briefcase scene probably takes the cake, I think.[/sp], clever use of different ant species. The comical elements were great and didn't detract too much from the overall tone of the movie [sp]Michael Pena's lip syncing gag was hilarious. More so the second time around[/sp]. Darren Cross a.k.a. Yellowjacket was kind of an interesting villain, strangely sympathetic in his way. [sp]However, I didn't feel like his dwindling sanity was explained too well. Hope says something about the Pym particles messing with his brain patterns, but where was he exposed to them? How exactly were they messing with his head? And I was surprised and his particularly gruesome death. [/sp]
yes [sp]and its really self contained and didnt detract from the movie, hes just there for a second maybe less[/sp]
but it always does take you out of the film. it's like "hey, there's stan lee". i wish they'd stop doing it tbh.

[/sp]
[sp]He was exposed to them via the constant testing and looking for the particles over and over. It's not so much as being shrunk as being near something that's shrinking. Notice how on the testing scenes Cross' men are wearing protective suits and he's not. Also, this wasn't that developed in the movie, but Hank says that the Pym Particles do shit to you if you use them over and over and over like he did and it's been said in the comics they often lead to messed up behavior and stuff like that.[/sp]
