[sp]I'm looking into it but it seems to me that whilst the final battle was set in a girl's room from the start in Edgar/Joe's draft, Thomas the Tank Engine might have not.[/sp]

Well,
[sp]Someone needs to cut that scene with the music from the TV show playing over it, it gets louder as Thomas approaches[/sp]
Its [sp]still the Superhuman Registration Act, but this version is global, which brings in dudes like Black Panther.[/sp]
I don't think that really helps the fact that there's not really that many superheroes to be involved with it.

At least for the cinematic universe
Related to the civil war,
[sp]I don't know much about marvel, at least as far as the comics go, but my friend told me that spider man was a pretty big part of the civil war. Is the mcu civil war going to suck if he's not a part of it? I assume they didn't get the rights to him in time to include him in the movie.[/sp]

[sp]He's in the movie, supposedly two scripts were done, one with, one without, they're using the one with.[/sp]

In the comics, [sp]Spiderman chooses to side with the anti-registration act which is pro-hiding identities. Then Ironman (I think it was him) persuades him to switch sides and reveal to the public that he is Peter Parker. Then sometime later he regrets the decision and switches back to Cap's side.[/sp]
Fuck I'll have to wait for like 2 weeks to watch Ant-Man

For a single movie, it's pretty packed:
Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Spider-Man, War Machine, Falcon, Ant-Man [sp]and presumably Wasp[/sp], Vision, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, not sure about Thor or Hulk. Then you've got things like SHIELD, HYDRA (in the form of Crossbones and Baron Zemo)... Even if it's not to scale with the comics, for one movie it's got a lot going on (possibly more than Age of Ultron did). It's a wonder if they'll be able to balance it all or if it will collapse under it's own weight.
ant man:
[sp]did it bother anyone else that the guy's bloody nose magically disappeared in the first scene of the movie? I thought he was a different character and I lost track of who was who[/sp]
[editline]22nd July 2015[/editline]
oh and did anyone else notice that antman was filmed with a taller aspect ratio? it looked like HDTV instead of the more narrow ratio that is expected with movies, was antman filmed with with those new Arri Alexa IMAX cameras?

[sp]He can definitely be seen wiping his nose with a hankerchief in a quick shot then suddenly its entirely gone and clean. Idk not really a good cut of events[/sp]
Also ant man
[sp] i really think that second post credit scene is straight from during civil war. they say "they could have asked tony that last week" like his relationship with them changed or he is tied up in a way that he can't work with cap and falcon. also what are "the accords" that they mention?[/sp]

[sp]feige has already said it is[/sp]
Do you guys think they'll mention hero's from future movies? Like Doc Strange or Captain marvel?
I feel they cast Dr Strange a bit early to have him pop up in one of these films.
Infinity War is going to be a cluster fuck.
That's why it's going to be 5 and half hours.
Has it been confirmed or hinted anywhere that the guardians and the avengers will interact at all in infinity war, or is it all speculation at this point?
That's why it's going to be 5 and half hours.
Is it just about Thanos and his army or is are more villains involves?
Being that it's Thanos, would it likely take place off Earth for most of part 1?

I thought Kevin Feige confirmed that the Avengers will meet the Guardians in Infinity War

Haven't heard about this. Source if possible?
Just got back from Ant-Man and fuck me, that was good.
All these good comic book movies...what a time to be alive.

Well, not all of them, but there was definitely more crap than good stuff.
Is it just me or does Miles Teller in every piece of media for Fantfourstic look like a teenager?

They all look like kids, except for Thing. Who sounds like one. So no, not just you.
Just a quick Ant-Man question: what happened to [sp]Cross? My first thought was that he was going sub-atomic but he's not shrinking properly for that to happen.[/sp]

[sp]He died. Horribly. Scott probably broke something keeping the suit from smashing the person inside to pulp when shrinking. Or maybe he shrunk too fast, anyway, Cross is more dead than disco.[/sp]
Just came back from Ant-Man, I saw the regular version of the film but I'm gonna go back and see it again in IMAX 3D now that I've seen the way the scale scenes are. Loved the effects they used on the shrinking/growing, and while I really liked the Yellowjacket suit, overall he felt like a really weak villain.
The [sp]subtle nod to Spider-Man, the blink and miss it parts with Janet in the Microverse, and the after credit scene with Bucky, Sam, and Cap were all awesome[/sp]
also: Ant-Man is the first movie EVER to explain why they don't just call the avengers
THANK YOU for finally sorting this shit out marvel it only took you 3 years
I figured that was obvious

[sp]
I'd say the opposite; based on the current treatment part 1 will be earth realizing what's up (probably via guardians and strange) and part dos will be whomever is left unfucking the universe after Thanos uses the gauntlet[/sp]
also: Ant-Man is the first movie EVER to explain why they don't just call the avengers

I never got why it needed explaining. You can just assume they're busy doing their own thing.
Like you think Stark at any point had time to ask for help during Iron Man 3? Even if he did Widow, Hawkeye and Cap were probably on a Shield mission or dealing with the Winter Soldier fallout.

I'll never regret going to IMAX 3D for my first viewing. It was the first film I've seen with the new 3D effects that actually helped the film. The scale was amazing in IMAX and the depth really made you feel like you were viewing everything from Scott's perspective. Can't wait to see it again in 2D because while the 3D was cool, it was sometimes difficult to focus on the fast moving scenes.
Favorite scene was when [sp]Scott first gets the suit, falls through the building and stumbles on the dance floor, then fly's out of the vacuum, then panicks to return the suit. Felt like something that anyone would do if they tried on a suit that had powers. Instead of just embracing it and loving it like every other hero, Scott does the most human thing I've seen in a comic book movie; He freaks the fuck out and tries to distance himself from it. [/sp] Just felt like a real everyman reaction that we don't often seen in super hero movies.
